HBO wins 21 Emmy® Awards, The most of any network this year

PHILIPPINES, 25 SEPTEMBER 2009 -- HBO received 21 Emmy® awards this year, the most of any network for the tenth year in the running. These awards include:

GREY GARDENS, six wins: Outstanding Made for Television Movie, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Jessica Lange), Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Ken Howard), Outstanding Art Direction For A Miniseries Or Movie, Outstanding Hairstyling For A Miniseries Or A Movie, Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Miniseries, Movie Or A Special



GENERATION KILL, three wins: Outstanding Sound Editing For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special, Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Miniseries Or A Movie, Outstanding Special Visual Effects For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special

INTO THE STORM, two wins: Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie (Brendan Gleeson), Outstanding Music Composition For A Miniseries, Movie Or A Special (Original Dramatic Score),

HOUSE OF SADDAM, one win: Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Shohreh Aghdashloo).

TRUE BLOOD, one win: Outstanding Casting For A Drama Series

ENTOURAGE, one win: Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation

TAKING CHANCE, one win: Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Miniseries Or A Movie

Other HBO wins: CHRIS ROCK - KILL THE MESSENGER (two wins), ROMAN POLANSKI: WANTED AND DESIRED (two wins), GRANDPA, DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? WITH MARIA SHRIVER (one win) and THE MEMORY LOSS TAPES (one win).

GREY GARDENS, INTO THE STORM, HOUSE OF SADDAM and TAKING CHANCE will premiere in Asia very soon in 2010.
