I just got a flu last Friday and I got sick so bad that evening that results for no computer and internet for almost 5 days. Its my 5th day and I'm still have a mild fever, I just got a little reserved energy to check my email, because from my deep sleep last night, I felt that the internet visited me in my sleep.
I know its such a weird dream (or nightmare) Facebook pops out over and over again and my Gmail talks to me and said that I have 200 unread emails, I experienced this in my sleep over and over again from 3am to 6am, and I'm chilling to death and sweat like I jog the whole village.
But I'm glad that I show signs of recovery and got afraid that this could be a swine flu or dengue. But glad that its not. I just remembered that I have a one week flu every year and it occurs every month of December or around late January. Its a natural thing in my body and glad that I feel a little bit okay. I still feel dizzy and my back hurts so bad, because I'm in bed for 3 days and feel like a vegetable.
so expect some no blog updates for a few days or plurk, I'll just take a rest and have a full recovery.

Flippish.com launching party @ Fiamma

Flippish.com is finally launched and the party started at Fiamma bar in Jupiter St. Makati. The crew and people of Flippish.com (tagged as the VIPs) were there and introduced to the public the various shows of Flippish.com and also upcoming series. Bands and rappers performed during intermission break. Event was hosted by Roxanne Barcelo.

Me and blogger friends were there to support Kring's online tv network. Looks like that TV will be dead for good and online entertainment will be the new past times of internet geeks.

visit www.flippish.com for fresh flip show

Michael Jackson human statue in SM City Taytay

In a rush for a tribute to Michael Jackson at SM City Taytay, the fastest and most unique way is through mimes. Two mimes who dressed up like Michael Jackson showed up last Sunday and placed at the entrance area of the event center of the mall. People were shocked to see the human statue of Michael Jackson that pays tribute to the King of Pop.
Mall goers took pictures, video and pic with the mimes. GMA 7 news went there to cover the actvity. MJ fans were happy that day in Taytay and to see that MJ legacy still lives.

Palawan River falls behind Amazon River in New 7 Wonders
Press Release

Puerto Princesa Subterranean River at no. 2 in New 7 Wonders of Nature poll.
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River slips to number 2 on the New 7 Wonders of Nature (N7WN) poll, prompting the Department of Tourism (DOT) to appeal for support from voters. The Philippine entry is vying for the top spot, which is currently occupied by the Amazon River, among other 54 nominees under the category of Forests/National Parks/Nature Reserves.
There are currently 261 nominees from all over the globe, competing in 7 different categories, only 77 of which will remain after voting ends in July 7, 2009. The campaign is at its second of three stages. ( Read more below)
The contenders have been classified into 7 groups which are: Landscapes/Ice Formations, Islands, Mountains/Volcanoes, Caves/Rock Formations/Valleys, Forests/National Parks/Nature Reserves, Lakes/Rivers/Waterfalls, and Seascapes.
“It’s time we go beyond voting. Let’s all take an active part in promoting Puerto Princesa’s Subterranean River to the whole world,” said Ace Durano, Secretary of Tourism.
“More than a popularity contest, this campaign advocates the protection and preservation of our unique natural wealth,” said Eduardo Jarque, Jr., Tourism Undersecretary for Planning and Promotions.
Voters anywhere in the world can take part in the poll through the internet or via the international telephone voting line, or with a personalized voting certificate.
Renowned as the world’s longest underground river, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park also features a stunning limestone karst mountain landscape. Inside its large chambers are stalactites and stalagmites formations, while at the mouth of its cave thrives a bustling ecosystem which includes monkeys, large monitor lizards, and squirrels.
After the top 77 candidates have been determined, the New7Wonders Panel of Experts, led by Prof. Dr. Federico Mayor, former Director-General of UNESCO, will then take over to select the 21 Finalists.
The New 7 Wonders of Nature is an ongoing campaign sponsored by the New 7 Wonders Foundation based in Switzerland. The same group initiated the New 7 Wonders of the World project in 2007.
Majority of the visitors on the N7WN website has likewise voted for Manila as the venue for the proclamation of the New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2011.
