Colourcloud Palace 2 premieres 8 Feb 2010(Monday), airing weekdays 6pm, first and exclusively on Animax.

Shuurei's life changes when the Emperor's Grand Advisor offers her a chance to join the imperial household for six months as the young and uninterested Emperor's consort and to guide him to becoming a responsible ruler, in return for financial rewards.

Colourcloud Palace II continues the adventures of Shuurei Kou, as she passes the imperial examinations and becomes an apprentice officer at the palace. However, her path to becoming an official becomes complicated by her relationship with the Emperor, and other members of the court. Untold dangers await as Shuurei gets embroiled in the intrigues of imperial politics.

Colourcloud Palace II is based on a series of Japanese light novels written by Sai Yukino and illustrated by Kairi Yura set in a fantasy world reminiscent of ancient China.
