Send a Havaianas Happy Sole to Brazil

PR info: After nearly three months, the world-famous Brazilian flip-flops brand Havaianas unveiled the top ten happiest entries for the Havaianas “Happy Soles Will Travel to Brazil ” contest. Havaianaticos were asked to submit video entries answering the question, “If anything was possible, what would you do to make the world happy for a day?”

“We are so pleased with the overwhelming response from Havaianaticos for this creative competition,” said Anne Gonzalez, Managing Director of Havaianas Philippines . “With the huge number of entries, the judges were really entertained and had a hard time judging.”

Starting with over 2000 video entries, the Havaianas panel of judges, composed of Preview magazine Editor-in-Chief Pauline Suaco-Juan, Embassy of Brazil Diplomat Tiago Silva Almeida, Capoeira guru Professor Fantasma Coqueiro, famed travel blogger Anton Diaz and Havaianas Philippines Managing Director Anne Gonzalez, had a challenging time picking the ten happiest and most creative entries.

“There are lots of young, spirited people who were really trying to make a mark,” gushed Pauline, “It’s really fun hearing all of the out-of-the-box answers on how will they make the world happy.”

The ten finalists, now one step closer to an all-expense–paid holiday to Brazil , are: Ynez Alcid, Aurea Joanna Anden, Justin Ace de Guzman, Joya Genzola, Denise Gonzales, Farrah Lapinid, James Lu, Hannah Reyes, Katrina Suiza, and Maria Velasquez. Hailing from Manila , Cebu, Davao , Caloocan , Leyte, Bacolod and more, these ten finalists truly represent the country’s happiest soles.
