I just got a sched for a taping tonight and my topic is all about toys, the collectible and some affordable toys that will be perfect for this Christmas. Also the most fun part is that I'll feature that Whack it electronic game, I borrowed 2 units from Jeman and then he said that I can keep the other unit, I brought it at home and the whole family played it, but then they got addicted and never stop playing hahahaha.

okay okay, I'm going to sleep now and below is one of the toys that I'm going to feature later.
and yes, I'll bring some Transformers and some action figures hahaha.

daddy mode for this week

I just can't believe that I created and conceptualized a costume for Ashton, he will attend a birthday party of our mommy blogger Pehpot's 2nd baby girl in Manila and it will be a Neverland theme party, Lace got a tip that Ashton will go out as Peter Pan, and because of our busy sched we didn't got a time to buy or make Ashton's costume, but then I got a time to sneak in to Robinsons Galeria and did a 2 hour hunt for his costume.

I failed in searching at Toys R US, but my back up plan did the trick
1. visit the dept. store
2. buy a green baby suit
3. buy felt paper - black, white, green at Saizen
4. buy all around glue
5. buy my toy at Toys R US ( hahahah yeah! seriously)

and after arriving at home, we stitch, cut and glue all together a Peter Pan costume for Ashton. oh wow! I excited to see him wear this.. let's consider this my first craft of costume making hahahaha.

Belenismo sa Tarlac 2010 in SM City Tarlac

The SM Grand Belen Set-up

This November 5, 2010, SM will unveil its entry for this year’s Belenismo sa Tarlac as it celebrates its first Christmas here in Tarlac.

SM Tarlac’s entry will surely be one of the most anticipated for it will be a cut above the rest of the competition. The entire structure of the Belen’s dome is supported by a metal frame covered with screen mesh and finished with glitters. The main dome will rest above a solid base and will be 20ft high, 6ft in depth and a width of 23ft that will house the massive characters of the Belen.

Mounted on the mouth of the vast dome is an arch decked out with numerous LED Lights that will light up above from the location of the Belen, on top of the main covered walk.

The familiar characters will be more than life size and are created from tinted fiber glass and their dimensions are as follows:

King 1: 7’ 1 3/8” x 7’ 5 ½”

Virgin Mary: 10’3 15/16” x 4’ 4 ½”

Baby Jesus: 5’91/2” x 5’4 11/16”

Joseph: 11’ 2 1/16” x 4’ 3 1/16”

King 2: 5’4 5/16” x 10’ 1 ¾”

King 3: 8’6 11/15” x 4’ 1 1/18”

The Three Kings’ arms will simultaneously move back and forth while their hands are moving up and down. At the same time, the images of Mary, Jesus and Joseph will stand still while their halo lights up with the use of LED lights.

To top it all off, SM Tarlac’ entry has an enormous star that will symbolize the North Star that guided the Three Kings. The star will be made from metal sheets mounted on a round metal framing, decorated with a gold lacquered finish then topped with gold glitters and warm LED lights.

Surely, the SM Grand Belen Set-up will be a spectacular sight this Christmas season in the whole province of Tarlac for the Belenismo sa Tarlac 2010.

COMICS: Onslaught is coming back this Feb 2011 and he is not happy

OMG! Onslaught is back! in the new series Onslaught Unleased. I think Feb 2011 will be the month and year for me to go back into comics, Onslaught is one of my favorite super villain and goes after Magneto and Apocalypse in the X-men series. This was revealed last month in New York Comic Con and the series is written by Sean McKeever and art by Filipe Andrade. The cover features an art by Humberto Ramos. I really miss this bad ass villain and I want him to go back in the real Marvel Universe and kick those superheroes assess once more.

I went wonky after seeing this mutant creature in video games, and I'm glad that he's back in the pages of our comics. Marvel should put Onslaught in a live action movie next time hahaha. I remember years ago (1996) my college days, I got hooked and completed the whole series after finding out whose the main culprit and X-men traitor in their team, and whooaa it was Professor X (but then revealed in the later part that it was really Gambit)

here's another charity running event organized by Mcdonalds.


Calling all families, friends and running enthusiasts! It’s time to run, have fun and help thousands of kids learn how to read as McDonald’s celebrates McHappy Day with a Fun Run this November 28 at the Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.

For only P350 per individual or at a discounted rate of P1,250 for a group of four runners, participants can run the race of their choice- 3K (individual and family category), 5K, 10K or the 500 meter dash for kids 7 years old and below. To qualify for the family category in the 3K distance, the group/family should be composed of 2 Adults regardless of gender and two Kids 12 years and below. The fun run will also feature games, prizes and other exciting surprises for the whole family to enjoy.

The McHappy Day Fun Run is a special run that aims to raise P1 million for the benefit of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), the charity of choice of McDonald’s and its banner program, Bright Minds Read (BMR). Bright Minds Read is a program in partnership with the Department of Education that provides reading toolkits to different public schools all over the country to help grade 1 students learn beginning reading. To date, over 2,600 public schools nationwide are under the BMR program.

Spotted at PFW 2010 - R.A.G.

Here's a photo of me with Rachelle Ann Go, I saw her last night at the Sony Vaio show in Philippine Fashion Week 2010. I was located at the photographers pit, an elevated area with chairs and most of the occupants are photographers and camera man. We usually stand there and some stand on the chair to take a good photo of the model.

Then there's a lady who let their kid companion to stand on the chair near the photographer near me, I looked at them and start to be careful and be aware that there's a kid near us, we photographers move fast in taking photos and since the kid is near me, I might accidentally bump her chair, then a lady is with the kid, with hot red lipstick, the venue is already dark and lights are already turned off, the lights are now aimed at the runaway.

I kept on looking at the lady and see her red lipstick on the lips, and I mistakenly recognize her as Kristine Reyes, we look each other and I saw her eyes, ahhahaha. it was Rachelle Ann Go.
I talked to her and asked for a photo op,I forgot to tell her I walk near her at the Legazpi City Airport last week. She should be seated at the VIP and I'm wondering why they are standing at the photographers area, siguro naubusan na sila ng seats and dun na lang pumuwesto, I noticed that they cheered and gave support to designer Oz Go.
