TAM-AWAN VILLAGE
Our next site to visit for our Baguio Tour is the Tam-awan Village. Its an art and culture site that occupies one side of the mountain. Its like a museum of traditional houses of Ifugao and Igorot, it’s the actual house where you can also rent for a staycation. There’s an art gallery, small restaurant and a trail where you can trek the side of the mountain going to the peak where you can watch the golden sunset.

I tried to join the trek but I decided to sit down in one of the traditional Ifugao house, I was so tired and got no energy left.

We ate some snacks in the Tam Awan Village restaurant, I finally! I tasted the popular PINIKPIKAN dish, its like a chicken tinola and small mix of dinuguan. But the preparation of this Pinikpikan is very barbaric. It’s the traditional and old way of beating the chicken until it bleeds and then cook it in Benguet style ala tinola.

Btw, bring your jacket
there are times that a fog embraced the entire mountain

I spotted a French guy here that cooks yummy crepes.
I want to order one, but there a long line of order and you have to wait for you turn. The French guy is very chatty and funny to talk with.
