Trailer 2 of GI JOE movie sequel debuts online at YouTube and here we can see a close look on Cobra's team and new characters for this movie.
Characters from the 1st GI JOE movie will return, but I noticed that Ripcord and Heavy Duty is not on the list of cast at Wikipedia and maybe the two characters died when Cobra unleashed a surprised attack on the GI JOE based, we see that on the trailer here and we heard that Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock mentioned that he don't want to bury another Joe in this mission. Scarlet, General Hawk and others are also not mentioned
Interesting new characters for GI JOE: Retaliation, here we have Flint, Lady Jaye, Firefly, Blind Master, Jinx, Tunnel Rat, Zandar, Mouse and then the original GI JOE - General Joseph Colton, played by Bruce Willis.
