Caracol Festival 2013: Bringing Life and Color in Makati City

Makati City has its own version of cultural event to celebrate the beautiful bounties of Mother Earth. Held at the Globe Event Grounds, Circuit Makati last February 24, Caracol Festival is an annual tradition of Makati residents as one way of addressing the awareness on environmental protection and conservation.

The highlight of the event is the dance production prepared by elementary and highschool students and residents from six barangay clusters in Makati.

"Beyond being a visual feast and jovial celebration, the Caracol Festival seeks to inspire other cities in the country to promote similar activities geared to rouse public awareness on the urgent need for definitive action to save and conserve our environment and natural resources," shares Makati Mayor Jejomar Erwin S. Binay.
