I just remembered that after Ducati, my next fave motorcycle brand is Aprilia.
Last week, they organized a launching event which I failed to attend, but its okay, let the photos and txt speak for you and let's welcome Aprilia Manila here in our country. Thanks to Wah Pinas for inviting me there.
here's the news
Aprilia Manila. The Piaggio group and its Philippine representative, Granstar Motors, introduces their flagship Aprilia dealer and company identity store in the Philippines. Aprilia Manila is operated and owned by Moto Meccanica Pilipinas, the same group that launched Ducati Manila South which quickly became the favorite store and hangout of Ducati enthusiasts in the Philippines.
With the motorcycle community foremost in its thoughts, Moto Meccanica decided to transform itself from an exclusive Ducati company identity store to one that can carry and support other high end Italian motorcycle brands. The Piaggio group, owner of four prestigious Italian brands - Aprilia, Vespa, Moto Guzzi and Derbi - became the ideal partner for this endeavor. It was also opportune that Granstar Motor was looking for a primary Aprilia dealer in the Philippines. Moto Mecccanica, with its track record in selling and servicing high end big bikes, and more importantly, it's reputation for providing great customer experience to its clientele, was the obvious choice. With the dominating wins of Aprilia in the recently concluded WSBK race in Australia where the team got all the podium slots (1st, 2nd and 3rd), the Philippine motorcycle community got even more aware and excited with the Aprilia brand. This was a partnership meant to happen. The outcome: Aprilia Manila, Aprilia's flagship company identity store in the Philippines.

Aprilia Manila will carry all Aprilia motorcycle models, parts and accessories, and apparel. The store also features a Vespa nook, showcasing the company's most popular scooter models. Our service center - Moto Meccanica Service by Motul - is a certified Aprilia and Vespa service center with fully trained mechanics and an Aprilia tuning and diagnostics computer to allow factory specified analysis and tests. Of course, Moto Meccanica Service will continue as a Ducati service center providing support to its loyal Ducati clientele and friends, as well as owners of other motorcycle brands.
Aprilia Manila, is located conveniently in Makati along the South Superhighway (5448 Osmena Highway, Bangkal, Makati), in what is fast becoming known as a Big Bike Hub, which apart from Aprilia Manila and Moto Meccanica Service, also houses the Ducati Store featuring Ducati bikes, accessories, parts, apparel, and Apexx a boutique shop specializing in after market accessories for big bikes.
Moto Meccanica has made a bold move to become the go to place for high end Italian bikes, by making its compound available to various motorcycle brands and stores. The riding community has been extremely receptive of the move and are enthusiastically awaiting its opening. There will be a grand launch party on April 13, with exciting promotion offers and several bikes on auction.

According to Bong Borja, one of the owners of Moto Meccanica, “This is a welcome development for the big bike riding community. They now have more choice of premium bands. Couple this with the availability of promos like zero interest financing for up to 5 years, owning Italian bikes no longer remain a dream”
It may be too early to talk about the future, but don't be surprised to see Moto Guzzi and the famed Augusta brands to show up in their stores not too long from now!
