Circuit Fest: Music and Skate event this May 25th in Circuit Makati

Check out the full details of Circuit Fest: Music and Skate event that will be held in Circuit Makati this May 25, 2013. I think this will be the 1st biggest event to be hosted at Circuit Makati.Featuring 9 international bands, 2 professional skateboarders and 1 Hollywood celeb that will host the entire event for all music and skate fans.

Sensational international lineups, amazing skateboarding activities with fantastic pro skateboarders, and a hot Hollywood host guiding the event every step of the way all in one fun-filled day in Circuit Makati.

Featuring nine (9) International Bands, World-class Skateboarding Acts, and a Hollywood Celebrity to boot, CircuitFest 2013, the first International Music and Skateboard Festival in the Philippines, features performances by We Are The In Crowd, Mayday Parade, Downtown Fiction, This Century, All Star Weekend, Before You Exit, Megan Nicole, Yellowcard, and A+ Dropouts with Mark Salling aka “Puck” of Glee, and skateboarding stars Riley Hawk (son of Tony Hawk) and Fil-Am pro skater Willy Santos, what more can you ask for?

Here’s a quick rundown on the groups performing:

We Are The In Crowd
The American pop punk band from Poughkeepsie, New York, performed on the 2010 and 2012 Summer Vans Warped Tour. The band consists of Taylor Jardine, Jordan Eckes, Mike Ferri, Rob Chianelli, and Cameron Hurley, and are known through singles such as, Rumor Mill, On Your Own, and Kiss Me Again, have more than 200,000 likes and followers on Facebook. Their album, Best Intentions, peaked at number 2 on Top Heatseekers and 20 on Independent Albums under Hopeless Records.

Mayday Parade
Mayday Parade, consisting of Brooks Betts, Jake Bundrick, Alex Garcia, Jeremy Lenzo, and Derek Sanders, an American rock band from Tallahassee, Florida, released their debut EP Tales Told by Dead Friends in 2006 and sold over 50,000 copies with no record label support. A Lesson in Romantics, their debut album, was released on June 10, 2007. After signing a to a record deal by Fearless Records in 2006, the group signed on major label with Atlantic Records in 2009. Anywhere But Here, their second studio album, was released on October 6, 2009 with their third album released on October 4, 2011 entitled, Mayday Parade. Through Fearless Records, Mayday Parade will release their fourth studio album slated autumn 2013.

The Downtown Fiction
The band is an American pop rock band from Fairfax, Virginia consisting of Cameron Leahy, David Pavluk, Wes Dimond, and Kyle Rodgers signed to Photo Finish Records, a division of Atlantic Records. The band released, Let’s Be Animals on April 25, 2011, making it the band’s first studio album after two EP’s. The Downtown Fiction announced in April 2012 that they have begun working on their sophomore album in Los Angeles, California.

This Century
The band is an American band from Phoenix, Arizona, comprising of Joel Kanitz, Ryan Gose, Sean Silverman, and Alex Silverman. The band performed in Vans Warped Tour in 2009, and is currently signed to Action Theory Records under Warner Bros. They are known for songs such as Everywhere Everything, Do It To Me, and, Skeletons.

All Star Weekend
All Star Weekend is a pop band based in Poway, California with Zachary Porter, Cameron Quiseng, and Michael Allen Martinez as the group’s members. The band gained popularity from the Disney Channel television network. Their debut album, Suddenly Yours, peaked at number 197 on the Billboard 200 with their second studio album, All The Way, peaking at 49 on Billboard 200.

A+ Dropouts
A+ Dropouts featuring Cheska (vocals), Lucas (guitar), Evan (bass), and Nolan (drums), this group originally formed in Washington DC is led by Cheska Zaide. The group has performed in over 100 shows in the United States, were featured on several major television stations in the DC area, and were voted as one of the top 12 teen bands in America. Their singles have been featured on DC101 and Clear Channel in the DC area as well as on Fuse TV and Myx Channel.

Before You Exit

Dubbed as the next Jonas Brothers, Before You Exit, a pop-rock band based in Orlando, Florida, consists of Connor McDonough, Braiden Wood, and Thomas Silvers with the addition of Connor’s brother, Riley, the year after it was formed in 2007. In mid-2012, Toby McDonough joined resulting in a lineup change to the three brothers with Braiden and Thomas for live performances. They released, A Short Story, the group’s EP, in 2009 followed by their second EP, Letting Go, in March 2011. I Like That was released in February 2013. I Like That (single) reached number 6 on Monster Radio RX 93.1 charts in the Philippines, with over 140,000 likes on Facebook.

Megan Nicole

With over 1,500,000 subscribers and 350,000,000 million views on YouTube, Houston-born and raised in Katy, Texas, Megan Nicole’s took the YouTube community by storm with her rendition of Use Somebody by Kings of Leon back in December 2009. Best known for covers such as The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars, Payphone by Maroon 5, and B-e-a-utiful (original song); this young lady proves to be versatile not only in her vocals but also her music genre. She is currently signed to Bad Boy/Interscope Records and is preparing for her debut album with her own original material.

Reminisce a bit to Ocean Avenue, Lights and Sounds, Paper Walls—fast forward to 2012 to 2013 with Southern Air (album)—that’s Yellowcard for you. The American pop punk/alternative rock band from Jacksonville, Florida with band members Ryan Key, Sean Mackin, Ryan Mendez, Longineu W. Parsons III, and Josh Portman formed in 1997. The group features the use of a violin, uncommon for the genre, and is best known for their song, Ocean Avenue with their latest hit Here I Am Alive under Hopeless Records. They’re now back in the studio and are on the works on a new set of music coming your way soon.

Circuit Makati
Circuit Makati is a 21-hectare integrated, mixed-use development that brings together Ayala Land’s various products lines such as Alveo (residential), Ayala Malls and offices, and Ayala Hotels. Circuit Makati houses the Globe Circuit Event Grounds, a 2-hectare area that is envisioned to be the premier venue for international concerts, festivals and outdoor activities in the Philippines.
