360 degrees photo: 9th annual Komikon 2013

click the photo above to view

I was in Komikon 2013 this afternoon and I took a 360 degrees photo of the whole event.  Not yet a perfect 360 degrees virtual photo, I'm still using my m4/3 camera and I still experience slow shutter action when taking burst photos. I really should take photos using my DSLR.

Blogger problems in Flickr's new photo experience - part 3 “I'm back to old version “

Finally!!! its nearly a month of living the blogging life without an embed button in my Flickr, it now comes to an end. I’m now back to the old and original version of Flickr.

How and where I found that GO BACK button, then read my story below

Bose launches a high tech in-ear noise cancelling headphones and mini Bluetooth speaker

QuietComfort 20 & SoundLink Mini_IMAGE
Bose just launched in time for the holiday season a one of a kind high tech audio products that is only expected here in Bose’s new audio items line up featuring an in-ear noise cancelling headphones with high tech rig and a mini bluetooth speaker that can beat anyone’s boombox. I’ve attended their product launch last September and the only thing that can wow you by Bose is to try their products by yourself. It was like being born again and trying new toys for the first time, that feeling was experienced again and thanks to Bose for the goose bumps and wow factor of the world of tech. I guess this is the real tech of 2013, I’m an audio gadget fan boy and I can say is that this is the real tech deal for Bose.

"GIVING BACK HOPE"– a project for the people of Cateel, Davao Oriental

I just received this via email from our PR friends. I’m sharing it here in my blog.

Dear Friends,
Hope all’s well with you all.

Our company, OMG (Omnicom Media Group) will be having a “Giving Back Hope” Christmas Project wherein one of this is selling rosary. Just a brief background, the people from Cateel, Davao Oriental were badly hit by storm Pablo last December 2012. Cateel’s main source of livelihood are the coconuts (coconut trees, copra, etc). Those coconuts were damaged and hit by the storm. They thought of doing beads from the coconuts and therefore making a rosary out of it.

With this, we are helping them sell what they did, the rosary.

Below is a photo of the rosary. Cost is only Php30 per rosary.

A list of restaurants Joining #DineForACause for #YolandaPH

If you are looking for some restos that are doing their own effort to help the #YolandaPH victims, then click and read the links below provided by our food blogger friends. I saw their post in our Facebook food community - OMF! Oh My Food network promoting the different kinds of #DineForACause.

Look, hear and feel the Christmas at Ayala Malls –more than just a twinkle of lights

8
Christmas if being felt first whenever we saw malls are hanging their Christmas lights above the ceiling, rise of Christmas trees and echoes of Christmas songs from all over the corners of the malls, and even inside the comfort room you’ll hear the song “Jingle bells”. Our malls is the most visited place in the country, that’s why they are working so hard just to make sure that we get attracted and happy on the display set up of their Christmas theme. In Ayala Malls, their set up is getting better and better, as they say, Christmas and the spirit of sharing is here.

As of now, blog post sync to my social media sites will be disabled.

to my blog readers:

blog post sync to my social media sites will be disabled.
to read my blog post- just visit directly www.azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com

this is in order to give way the flow of info and announcement re: donation drive and news about the #yolandaph aftermath in our social media feeds.

I'm home now...but

The first thing that I do after arriving home is check my email and read the news about what happened in Southern Visayas and also about the Typhoon Yolanda aftermath.  I' m shocked and I didn't stop reading the news, watching the recorded news and listen to shout outs of people asking for help. Social media is taking a big part again in helping to rebuild and save lives, the broadcast of digital information is very helpful and I'm thankful that our Filipino netizens never stop in getting first hand info on how we can help and share it non stop in different social media sites.

I always take some panoramic shots whenever I visit the viewing deck of SM City Baguio, the scene there is a live panoramic view of the mountains that surrounds the city. I got this idea to take a 360 degrees photo and here's the result, although not that perfect.
