I went to Carvajal st. in Binondo to find a nice carinderia for my lunch. I remembered that there’s a famous food hub here in Carvajal and I forgot already its name, but a quick photo walk inside Carvajal st. might land me for that food hub.

Many people go here to buy fresh fruits, veggies or sea food, others visit the carinderias just to order a quick take out for their lunch
It’s a hidden alley in the corners of Binondo, I just learned about this during a walking tour with Ivan Man Dy and also with Carlos Celdran --- years ago.
Not only an alley of food, but also an alley with old stores that sells school supplies and hardware.
According to Ivan Man Dy of Old Manila Walks, this place is also called Umbrella Alley.
