Philippines Aims to Break the Guinness World Record’s title for Largest Serving of Roast Pork

It would seem that the Philippines, or rather, Filipinos are aiming to break another Guinness World Record’s title for the Largest serving of roast pork this coming November 8, 2015 at the Quezon Memorial Circle grounds.

This record breaking event is spearheaded by Calata Corporation. One of the biggest agricultural conglomerate in the country. This is conjunction with the Corporation’s 16th year anniversary on November.

The record attempt would serve a few things for the corporation. 1. a means to celebrate their 16th year anniversary , 2 awareness to the world and that the Philippines that we love to eat meat and 3, to raise awareness for the farming industry, which acc. to current data that we have an average age of 57 year old farmers.
