Aquaria Water Park in Calatagan, Batangas is changing every year and I'm surprised that they still have new things to offer and not just the slide, the pool and the beach. I also heard that there's a newly discovered sand bar few minutes away from the beach of Aquaria Water Park.
I'm sure old and new visitors of the beach resort will have more options how they can enjoy their beach vacation and adventure this summer season.
Aquaria Water Park is developed by Landco Pacific and operated by Anya Hospitality Inc.
The resort is open for day trip only from 8am-6pm daily.
Its my 4th time here in Aquaria Water Park, its great to see that the facilities and swimming pool are well maintained and clean. The only thing that changed are the plans for development , Last time, the plan was to have a condo residential building near the resort and now the new plan is to turn that condo into a hotel operated by popular luxury hotel management ( I can't tell yet which one)
Im so excited for that new plan and I hope they can finish the hotel building for the next summer of 2018.
If the hotel is up, we can now have an overnight stay here at Aquaria Water Park. Because as of now, they don't have any hotel accommodation and the only way you can spend an overnight here is to place your tent by the beach and have an overnight stay til 6am only.

Here's what Aquaria Water Park can offer:
3 storey slide with beach entry pool
Long pool infront of cabanas
Bath house for men and women
and also locker room
Inside the bath house - a spacious shower room and clean toilets
When we went there, I spotted a large group of people for a day tour company building. If you spotted a large group of people at the resort, I advised that you take a shower early before the end of the day, so that you wont encounter a long line to use the bath house.
If you dont like swimming at the sea, then you can just have a cool dip here at Aquaria's swimming pool. You can explore the entire pool by swimming through the long river-like pool going to the 6 feet deep pool with water slide.
Aquaria Water Park's is popular because of its slide with beach entry pool
The beach entry pool doesn't have any simulation of real waves, but they have a water falls that you can cool down while enjoying the sun. Here's how I relax myself at the beach pool entry area.
For more fun, try the 3 storey water slide -- take note, they require two people to ride the slide inflatable.
And also: PROPER Swimming Attire!
It's around 10 seconds slide from the top going to the bottom. Just follow the slide operator and guide instruction to prevent you from falling from the inflatable ride.
The fun is here that -- you can use the slide many times until you get tired haha.
The only tiring part here is that you have to carry the inflatable up to the top of the 3 storey slide.
We have one pool cabana that day, so I invited my friends to swim in the 5 feet cabana pool. Here we did some under water selfies with my GoPro camera.
I was laughing really hard when we did some crazy under water selfie attempt. The cabana pools are yours to use, its like a mini private pool for people who rent the pool cabanas.
Don't forget the beach at Aquaria Water Park
Aquaria Water Park is located at the beach coast of Calatagan, Batangas. You can enjoy the swimming pool, slide and also the beach.
The beach sand glows like it was a white sand, thanks to the sun for glowing it up, you might even thought that you are in Boracay haha.
The sea from the beach is from knee to chest deep water. There are times that low tide season are so early and the low tide occurs after mid day. So water sports activity like - banana boat, jet ski and etc are limited due to the rapid occurrence of low tide.
If you plan to do some water sports activity, then do it while the water is not yet on low tide.
If its high tide..then its an awesome season to do snorkeling and also water sports activity.
Reia, Athena and Julia riding the Banana Boat.
Julia kayaking along the beach
Its my 1st time to see a sand bar! and Im surprised that we have one near Manila! and you can find it here in Calatagan, Batangas.
If you have an extra budget, then ask for a sand bar tour. You can rent one boat good for 10 people and the boat man can transport you to the sand bar area.
Boat ride is around 20 minutes from Aquaria Water Park beach.
The sand bar was discovered last 2016.
The sand bar appears on low tide season.
You can stay here if you want til mid day. You can do a fun photo shoot and also get a close encounter with lots of sea urchins.
Be careful when walking in knee deep water, there are lots of sea urchins and its advise to walk here wearing your aqua shoes or sandals.
Fun shoot aftermath...
I sat down the water and cool myself down. There are no trees or shade at the sand bar. Its so hot..and I need to cool down.
Sea urchins...beside me during my cool down
Also there are so many star fish
take note: dont touch them or remove them from the water
After a tiring pool slide and sand bar adventure, we went to their Sand restaurant to eat our lunch and also merienda.
The Sand restaurant is open from 8am-6pm, you can order an ala cart meal for your breakfast, lunch, snacks and early dinner.
Try also their refreshing special Iced Tea
Our meal is a buffet set up. This is offered if you will book for a large group day trip here in Aquaria.
Lunch and snack time!!
For your body relaxing needs, you can also ask for a back or full body massage near the beach. Its best if you have a beach cabana so that you can ask for full body dry massage. But if you need just a quick back massage, you can sit at a picnic table set and let the therapist do the work while you have a quick nap.
Calatagan, Batangas is also famous for its golden sunset. Viewing the golden sunset at the beach is very glorious! Dont ever miss this if you are here in Aquaria Water Park
A great view to end our stay here in Aquaria Water Park.
Thanks for reading my blog post!!
I hope this post helped you for your research about the beach resort.
For summer season - its so damn hot!!! hahahaha sobra as in
But you can also visit the off peak season like end of the year and early start of the year. The sun is not too hot and you can maximize your stay under the sun and do more lots of water sports activity.
I hope to go back here again.
For my next visit, I will surely bring my family with me. Im sure they'll love the slide and also the beach here in Aquaria.
See you soon this -Ber months!
