Petron Blaze presents the F4 Southeast Asian Championship - Philippine Leg

Last year, Petron was the official fuel and engine oil for the F4 Southeast East Asian Philippine Leg, but then this year for the 2017 leg, Petron is back as the main presenter for the Formula 4 race Philippine Leg of its regional championship last October 21-22 at Clark International Speedway (CIS) in Pampanga.

Its one of the most important events for Petron as they are again as the official fuel and engine oil for the Formula 4 racer.

We learned in a short introduction about F4 racing, F4 SEA Chairman and CEO Peter Thompson said that the Formula 4 racing is the first step to develop enthusiast for a professional motorsport career in the FIA pyramid, culminating in F1. Young racers starting age 15 years old and above transistioned from karting to single racing, the F4 race will help them develop their race craft skills and move up in the world of Formula racing.

The 1st leg was held at Sepang, Malaysia last October 1, then after this 2nd leg the F4 SEA championship will move to Sentul, Indonesia on November 24-26, then the next leg will be on Buriram United International Circuit in Thailand on January 12-14, 2018, and then the final leg will be back to Sepang, Malaysia on February 9-11, 2018

F4 SEA will focus on the drivers experience and also the data that will be generated by the driver at  their race performance will serve as basis to win the Philippine leg.

F4 SEA and Petron introduces the young F4 racers at the event, they are so young and fueled with lot of passion on racing. In a few years, these young drivers will be moving up to the F1 racing world. Who knows, maybe one of them will be the F1 motor sport star of the future.
