AirAsia has always been in the front end with regards to helping the communities in the Philippines. As Capt. Darren Adrian Acorda, AirAsia Philippines' Chief Pilot for Operations, said that AirAsia has been helping people achieve their dreams like the Cadet Pilot Program that helps aspiring pilots around ASEAN and also helps in relief operations like in the Yolanda-Tacloban typhoon incident. This has inspired the campaign to also help children and improve their lives through the "See the World" campaign.

They have also produced videos in partnership with World Vision that highlights the life of a child and his dreams of a brighter future. One kid, Yoyong, was sponsored by Quest and AirAsia flew the kid to meet Quest and bond through video games and arcade. As Quest narrated that he also grew up in poverty and helping these children is a chance to give back to them. He’s happy to be a part of this and said that “It is in us Filipinos to help those in need”.

This is a great Christmas project between AirAsia and World Vision which gives back to the community by nurturing the education of our young ones. And with the hopes, that these children would grow up and contribute to the community as well and not just to see the world as a better place but also help shape it to become one. Just a simple booking of a seat in an AirAsia flight can go a long way in helping these children. Every peso donated to the World Vision is a peso well spent no matter how little or big it is..
