The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf hosted an event with us over a hot coffee and some sweet cakes and pastries, added to that brunch and dessert event is Discovery Travel and Living's World Cafe Asia star Bobby Chinn, entertaining us guests and share his experience about his tour and funny stories. The event took place at the lunch time in Greenbelt and then we got a time to attend the event at Bonifacio high street branch. I didn't have a clue that Bobby Chinn was there, I was invited by my blogger friends to come with them and witness the new set of cakes and drinks by CBTL.

I saw Bobby Chinn infront talking, at first I didn't recognize him, because I see his show not in a regular basis and whenever I visited my home in Pasig city, I used to watch the show in a different local cable tv provider, so that's why he is so very familiar with me,but didn't got the clue who is he. I know my sister is big fan and I met him and here we are! got a photo!.

In celebration or maybe we can say that in observance of the venue CBTL, the venue and cafe is a nice place were you can host a barkada meet up and have a lot of chats there, I usually visit some of their branches in Ortigas were I usually hold my meetings and group meet ups. Wifi internet is being serve to us and it makes our cafe delight experience more awesome. The experience in having talks and conversation added more fun in eating our cakes and drinking our frap and coffee. And during the discussions with Bobby Chinn, I just felt that the CBTL can be a venue for talks and not just your ordinary coffee shop.

Malibu Dream is a cold frap drink with strawberries and bananas, look at the pic above to imagine how it look like, Its kinda weird that the poster has this brownish color, but they served us the drink in white color, the barista told me that the color changed to white because of the banana. It tasted not that sweet, but you'll feel the strawberrish feeling on the first sip. I didn't even know that it has banana on it, until I read the sign in the picture minutes ago. I didn't enjoyed the drinks because I'm a hot drinker now and love the joy of coffees.
Triple Berry Coffee Cake
I thought that it is a cookie,and because of the slice and look I thought that this is full of raisins and strawberries, but I was wrong. It composed of Cranberries, Strawberries and Blueberries. This one is my favorite cake of the night, and it is a perfect match to my coffee or latte.
Chicago Cheesecake
Purely cheesy and its so soft and creamy with all of those cheese inside it. It tasted like your bluberry cheesecake, with the berries.
Oreo Camembert Cheese tart
I thought that the dark thing around of it was chocolate, but it was all Oreo. Not that sweet but the cheese dominates its taste and flavor.
Lemon Squares
Another okay match for my coffee, to kill the sweet and juicy of lemon in my mouth, I always sip a hot coffee while they are in my mouth, hahahaa.
Warm Chocolate Cake
i know this is sweet, but I just refused myself in trying it. I'm avoiding chocolates lately.
But I know this is great for a chocolate lover.
