Pre-selling of Mariah Carey's "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" just started in the Philippines

The ultimate diva of all-time Mariah Carey sings her heart out once more with the release of her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. The album was first introduced with the hit, Obsessed that gained utmost popularity both here and the globe topping music and video charts for several weeks in a row. It is also the perfect follow-up since her award-winning album E=MC2 that reached almost platinum here in the Philippines.

Now that the release of the album is getting close (Official release date is on Sept. 28), a bulls-eye is hit by Mariah’s golden voice as she launches her new single – an impressive remake of the 80’s Foreigner hit, “I Wanna Know What Love Is”. Mariah Carey has been known to do massive covers of love infused classics with the likes of Journey’s “Open Arms,” Badfinger’s “Without You,” Def Leppard’s “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak” and Phil Collins’ “Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now).” All of these remakes had great contributions to Mariah’s rise to fame and “I Wanna Know What Love Is” is deemed to be no different.

Reserve your copy by paying for your album in advance in participating stores. Make sure to keep your official receipt. Register at the counter and claim your limited edition Mariah Carey Designer Pillows. Claiming of reserved albums shall start on September 28, 2009 onwards. To claim albums, present your Official Receipt together with one valid ID.

Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel shall come in two formats – a Deluxe Edition that comes with an exclusive mini ELLE booklet filled with photos and facts about Mariah Carey that will be released on September 28. A Special Philippines Edition of the album shall also be released this coming October. The songs of Mariah Carey are now available for download for your cellphone via WAP and also ring back tunes and true tones.
