Requirement: Digital SLR Camera ***
Day 1. January 30, 2010 Saturday
* Briefing and Orientation
* Conceptualization / Brainstorming
Day 2.
* Familiarizing yourself with your camera in a studio set up.
* Familiarizing yourself with studio equipment, lights etc.
* Dealing with subjects
* Discussion and video/avp presentation
* Open forum
Day 3.
* Brief introduction on portraiture
* AVP
* Studying the human face
* Different lighting techniques used for portraiture
* Hands on portrait shoot
Day 4.
* Brief introduction on Beauty shots
* AVP
* Short talk from a guest stylist /or Make Up Artist
* Lighting techniques use for Beauty shots
* Hands on Beauty Shoot
Day 5.
* Working with backgrounds
* Lecture with Production/Set Designer Benjo Pacson
* Materials: what’s photogenic and what’s not!
Day 6.
* Conceptualizing your own shoots
* A short talk from an Art Director
* Sketching
* Translating Ideas to photographs
Day 7-8.
* Shoot with a model provided by the lighthouse studio
Final artworks from your shoots may be included in a small exhibit either at the lighthouse studio at the end of the workshop series or at the Creativity Lounge in Glorietta.
*** NOTE
We have not given final dates yet aside from the first day of workshop which is January 30 because we want to know first how many participants are available on weekends and those who are free on the weekdays (day or night time). Kindly indicate your preferred time (if after work or school etc.) And we will base it on the majority’s availability.
