In her first year at high school, Yui Hirasawa is searching for a club to join. At the same time, drummer Ritsu and her bassist friend Mio are trying to save the school's pop music club from being closed down due to a shortage of members. Managing to recruit Tsumugi to play the keyboard, they need just one more member to allow the club to continue running.(more below)
Unable to even read sheet music, Yui joins thinking she will play the castanets, the only instrument she can play, while the other three girls think she is a guitar prodigy… Comedy ensues as the trio helps Yui learn to play the guitar, with the four eventually making a great girl band in time to play at the school’s festival.
