Cartoon Network’s Hero Up Challenge is calling on kids to create their own super-powered heroes to win exclusive Cartoon Network goodies, hot new gadgets and an exciting chance to see their creations brought to life on TV.
From April 12 to May 23, 2010, Cartoon Network is set to be invaded by villains threatening Cartoon Network’s favorite heroes and damaging the environment at the same time! Following this dilemma, Cartoon Network is asking for kids’ suggestions on new heroes to defeat the villains and keep them from destroying the world through the Hero Up Challenge. (more below)
Entering the Cartoon Network Hero Up Challenge is easy with two ways to win fabulous prizes. Kids can join the contest by watching out for the villains’ evil deeds against the environment in between their favorite Cartoon Network shows, whether it be Magneto controlling Wolverine to destroy trees, or Dr. Doom building a power draining proton cannon. Kids have to invent a super hero--complete with a name and its super powers--to combat the evil villain. Answers can be submitted by SMS through 4627 for Globe, Sun, Smart, Talk N’ Text and Touch users, or uploaded through
www.cartoonnetwork.com.ph. Entries received will get the chance to win a framed personalized Hero Up poster and fantastic Ben 10 branded goodies every week including t-shirts, bags, key chains and more!
For those who want to take their hero creations a step further, simply send in more details about the hero to win even bigger prizes! After watching the villains on Cartoon Network, kids can design a costume, make a video, take a picture, write a comic strip, make an essay and really get creative to show how they can fight to save the world against the villains’ evil deeds against the environment. Kids can send in their visions of what their superhero would be like, from their special super powers, gadgets, appearance—the more unique the hero, the better chances of winning! Drawings, photos or video entries can be sent via MMS to 4627 for Globe, Sun, Smart, Talk N’ Text and Touch users, or register on
www.cartoonnetwork.com.ph and upload entries.
As a reward for creative entries, Cartoon Network is giving out loads of limited edition prizes and hot new gadgets for kids who send in the best, most unique entries. Kids can win a Ben 10: Alien Force Quad Bike an iPhone, a Nintendo DS and much more. To top off all the treats, the kid who submits the best superhero will see their hero come to life on Cartoon Network!
