TECH: BlackBerry Smartphones to Mobilize Shanghai World Expo


As you see that mobile solutions are now entering the event and expo, this gave me an idea in future events, and being connected to your staff and team in organizing and managing the event is very important, communication is the key in order to have a successful festivities or expo. And a good example here in using mobile solutions in events is the BlackBerry sponsoring the Expo 2010 Shanghai China.

BlackBerry is the official "Smartphone Project Sponsor" for the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, and this was announced earlier by the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination that BlackBerry from Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) will be usedc and deployed to all managers and event staff of the event in order to have a better connectivity and communication in leading up the expo. The BlackBerry solutions will give better enhanced communications and it will increase the productivity of each mobile user by using the phone for calls, email, mms, messaging, calendar and other info needs. BlackBerrry smartphones will be equipped with specialized content and a customized office automation apps that has been developed to allow the organizers to approve and process internal request on the go. “The Shanghai World Expo is a signature event in 2010 with worldwide participation and support.
