It will be a joyful Christmas for Seattle’s Best Coffee here in the Philippines as they launched 4 new coffee blends – Chocolate Cherry, Coffee Hazelnut, Cookies and Mint and Coffee Cream Pie. Each of these drinks projected a character as your new best friend this holiday season that tickles the coffee person’s taste buds to enjoy the “most wonderful time of the year”, whenever I heard that line, I think of sipping my favorite coffee in a morning or evening and transport myself to a peaceful and joyous time of my life.
But the Christmas theme for Seattle’s Best Coffee doesn’t end there in releasing new drinks or the 2012 leathery planner with lots of goodies inside like music CD, discount coupons, wifi access and cute sticker badges, the most highlighted for this year is the partnership with World Vision, the largest child sponsorship agency globally, here in the Philippines, World Vision helps and improve lives of more than 120,000 children and 16 million Filipinos in 33 provinces and 44 cities nationwide. Just imagine that the cup of coffee that you bought can help one kid for a day and help him to go to school and have a healthy life. It’s a great idea that Seattle’s Best Coffee brought to us this Christmas, it is the time for giving for our fellow Filipinos.
Here’s how you can enjoy your coffee at Seattle’s Best Coffee and help a kid for day.
- Buy a holiday drink or classic drink , promo run from Oct. 22, 2011 up to January 22, 2011
- Get your own dream card and a sticker
- Collect stickers and complete all 18 stickers
- if you have 18 stickers in your dream card, then you can redeem a leather journal
- For this year, each buyer will receive two stickers, one sticker is for the dream card, and one sticker is for the World Vision Dream Tree that will be installed in all branches
- One sticker posted on that Dream tree will show that a portion of your drink will be donated to World Vision, this will help to sponsor a child’s need.
At the launching event, SBC invited celebrities who revealed themselves as one of the World Vision ambassadors and child sponsors and supporters, it was a great revelation to us and here they even sponsor two or three kids a day. Miriam Quiambao, Tin Tin Bersola-Babao, Cristalle Belo and Marc Nelson were there to show support and invite everyone to join World Vision's program. Mark Nelson shared his story that it all started when one agent of World Vision approached him in a mall during their mall campaign, Mark Nelson didn’t think twice and there he chose two kids to sponsor, because that time, he was task to choose which kid he want to sponsor, but then he decided to sponsor two kids.
If you plan to buy and drink your coffee, I suggest that you go to SBC, grab a drink and one purchase of it will help our younglings to have a better future.
