Beyond the Top 5 things that Filipinos looked for, few interesting and quirky things have cropped up this season. Leaving aside the general cakes, chocolates and goodies, Yahoo! Search Trends found fascinating details about the love psyche of Filipinos. For this year’s Valentine’s Search Trends, we witnessed an increase in more Filipinos searching the meanings and origins behind Valentine’s Day. 1. Valentine's Day card - a spike of 145.69% was recorded for Yahoo! Philippines, online cards are the new trend and its the cheapest and fastest way to send it to your love ones.
2. Valentine's quotes - love quotes, messages and with inspiring notes for Valentines became famous when the sms and txting booms here in our country. Sometimes, I just search for quotes and copy them and then send it via email or Facebook. A perfect quote or message is very effective to capture their hearts, so I don't try to attempt creating my own quotes hahahah.
3. Valentine's Day - Many people are researching for the origin of Valentine's Day, sometimes I get curious and search for it, and its weird because I do that every year.

5. Valentine's Hearts - on the top 5 of Valentine's searches, decorating stuff and creating DIY cards or decors are a creative way to express your love and handy art skills to your love one. There are lots of designs on the net and its just one click away if you want to download a heart design for your PC wallpaper, e-card or shirt.
