DIPLOMAT
HOTEL IN BAGUIO
The old and abandoned hotel on top of the mountain
of Baguio is considered as the most haunted haunted place, many local residents
who visited the area experienced lots of eerie scenes. Even a local friend who
went here with his friends years ago who felt a creepy experienced, he vowed
that he will never return to this place, He shared that one of his friend got
possessed when they visited the old hotel during night time.
Our Baguio
blogger friend brought us here, actually it was not part of the tour but I
suggested that we visit it. I don’t know the exact location, but it is located
in Dominican Road and most taxi and jeepney drivers know this, they can take you
here if you dare to go.
STORYDiplomat Hotel was
first established as a Dominican retreat house in the year 1913, and then on
1915, they converted the retreat house into a school, and then during world war
2 of 1945, the whole school was turned into a Japanese garrison and prison cell
for Filipino and American soldier. After the war, the entire building was
converted into a hospital, and then on 1975, the new owners of the building
converted it into Diplomat Hotel. The hotel was abandon later on because of
ghost disturbance, it was unoccupied for many years and then on 2005, the local
government of Baguio opened the place to the public as a tourist spot. They
renovated some parts of the hotel, trying to preserve what is left.
This
2012, we got a chance to enter and tour around the haunted Diplomat Hotel, we
tried our best to capture some ghost scenes.
But according to my video
blog ----- I captured one GHOST who hides in one of the pillars of the
building.

actors inside the Diplomat Hotel, they filmed a movie there titled “Diplomat
Hotel”. They captured a ghost image peeking at the window from the 2nd floor of
the hotel.

MY
SUGGESTION
If you plan to enter this place, I suggest you pray first
before entering, and don’t go inside ALONE.
Also go inside with your tour
group.
But if you don’t want to enter the hotel, then check out my
photos below to give you a virtual tour of Diplomat Hotel.
At
the entrance gate of Diplomat Hotel
There’s
the window where they saw the ghost image
Inside
Diplomat Hotel.
The entire place shows its age.
I
took some scenery photos to get some luck in snapping a ghost image.
Its
sad that the walls of this old hotel is being vandalized by
visitors.
Ohhh
