Few
months ago, I asked for tips and suggestions from our Baguio blogger friends,
they always suggest that we must try and visit the slaughter house compound in
Baguio, because they serve and cook the food there freshly from the animal
slaughter area.
All of the meat that are being sold in Baguio are coming
from the slaughter compound, it’s a central for meat supply and the only one
available to do all the meat distribution.
The best part here is that
some local residents took the advantage of setting up their own eatery and
carinderia. The fresh meat that are being sold here are very affordable vs. the
meat in the stores in the town proper of Baguio.
Many eatery and
carinderia operators are very successful, because they offer an affordable meals
that attracted the jeepney, FX and bus drivers and conductors. PUV drivers
usually visit this area to eat lunch, dinner and chill out.
The
compound is located in Bgry. Sto Nino in Baguio City.
Most taxi drivers know
this place already. you can ride a taxi and travel in 15 minutes if you are
coming from the town proper of Baguio City. If you are an adventurous eater,
then visit this place and try their all pinoy meals.
Vincent
led us to this dark alley.
Then after a few steps we saw lots of light and
noise of TV sets
here we discovered the carinderia belt of Baguio
City.
As
usual, like in Manila
the waiter and staff of the carinderia will invite you
to dine in.
We
went here at Minda’s Eatery 1
as suggested by Vincent. Our Baguio blogger
friend and guide.
We
took the 2nd floor because its much quiet and more space for us.
The food and
meals are very affordable
Meaty food priced at PHP30 and
