I have a little time today to blog everything about Solaire Resort - the mega resort rising in Manila, but I'm so excited to share the photos that I took from yesterday's digital media exclusive preview. It was a whole day of tour and chill out inside Solaire Resort. They are ready for the grand launch and opening this Saturday March 16, 2013. They have the Casino, Restaurants and hotel ready to serve everyone. I also learned that the hotel rooms are fully booked, I inquired on the prices of the resto and hotel and all I hear is that the price are just right and competitive. But my interest is the Fresh buffet resto, a fellow blogger told me that the price starts from Php 2,000 for a day of buffet meal.
Solaire Resort have 488 modern guest room equip with high tech touch screens to control the curtain, lighting, tv and room temp (weird..no touch screen to flush the toilet), high speed wireless internet ( I tested it..and its super fast), there's a separate rain shower and bathtub (my kid will sure love this bec. of the tub), 46 inches flat screen TV with 71 channels - I got informed that the TV is an interactive TV, luxurious 350-thread linens, a spacious workstation and in-room coffee and tea facility. For their high end rooms like the Deluxe and Grand Deluxe Rooms, its a big room with jacuzzi tub and a spacious walk in closet. The Bay side villas is one of the most luxurious room, its a 600-900 sq meter room with a 24 hour butler service, personal chef, own pantry, with SPA!! and Fitness room, lounge and entertainment area, private jacuzzi and pool and have your own terrace facing the Manila Bay... wow!!
The Pool is still under construction, but I got a quick peek to it behind a window, its a 72 meter ling pool with spa and fitness center for everyone, it also have a 24/7 spa service with 6 rooms and three couple rooms, Technogym equipment, steam room and exercise room. (I'm going to provide a design photo later)
We got a tour inside their 6 classy restaurants, but I arrived late and missed 2 resto tour. I also got a chance to taste one resto and talked to their people who are in charge of the good and beverage department. I'll post my other story in my next blog post.
The restos are:
Finestra - an Italian cuisine
Yakumi - Japanese cuisine ( heard its the most expensive)
Fresh - international buffet and ala carte menu )
Red Lantern - Cantonese cuisine
Strip Steakhouse - resto that serves prime cut meats from US, Aus and Europe
Lucky Noodles - Asian cuisine
re: the Casinos, we are not allowed to post photos yet, we have an embargo til the opening day, but I'm sure people are most interested about the hotel, resto and membership. About the casino, they have 1,200 slot machines and 300 table games in the first floor, at the 2nd floor, they have a big room for the VIP and high roller players.
The casino area have its own Food Court - its a quick snack mini resto that serves yummy burgers or Asian food, its like a normal food court with a classy theme.
The Dragon Bar is my favorite, because they have this crystal sculpture of a dragon in the middle of the bar, it is located with the casino, best for refreshments, breakfast and cocktails. I think this is a good start before you play the game or just stay relax here when you first visit Solaire Resort.
Solaire Resort have its own entertainment bar called Eclipse, its not the type of RWM's Republic, but its much more on a normal entertainment bar with a stage like an auditorium that can house music and show bands and do programs ( I'm sure the raffle draw for a new car will be held here). Show is every night and open 24/7 like the casino.
The Sunset Bar and Grill is not yet finish so we didn't got a chance to take a peek, or I might missed it because I arrived late, It is located near the pool deck and Im sure this will be the most occupied venue in Solaire Resort because everyone loves to stare the sunset and drink their favorite drinks.
For an event venue they have the Banquets, its a 1,470 sq meter grand ballroom with high tech features that can accommodate big and small events and it can house 1,200 guest in a banguet set up.
I'll just end my blogging here and thanks to that PR kit that I'm reading, it helps me to share this info to everyone. I have more stories to tell from my own perspective and watch out for that story tomorrow morning.
Btw, my favorite venue here is the CITY for the employees of Solaire Resort, and it is located under ground, grabe..they have their own city there with resto, rooms, banks and many more..
and final note... LOTS OF GORGEOUS LADIES here in Solaire Resort...oh my ... lots of beautiful pinays and HK girls :) - watch this video and see the female employees of Solaire Resort -
