Bose just launched in time for the holiday season a one of a kind high tech audio products that is only expected here in Bose’s new audio items line up featuring an in-ear noise cancelling headphones with high tech rig and a mini bluetooth speaker that can beat anyone’s boombox. I’ve attended their product launch last September and the only thing that can wow you by Bose is to try their products by yourself. It was like being born again and trying new toys for the first time, that feeling was experienced again and thanks to Bose for the goose bumps and wow factor of the world of tech. I guess this is the real tech of 2013, I’m an audio gadget fan boy and I can say is that this is the real tech deal for Bose.

Bose SoundLink® Mini Bluetooth® speaker is small but powerful, at the product demo, the person who operates this just tricked me and I thought that they are playing the music inside the room with a large speaker. I can feel the bass sound and crispiness of the music.
At 1.5 pounds, the SoundLink® Mini speaker weighs no more than the average tablet. It measures just 2.0”H x 7.1”W x 2.3”D -- 30% the size and 50% the weight of the original SoundLink® Mobile speaker.
Its light weight and can be carried right on top of your palm.
Bose SoundLink® Mini Bluetooth® speaker can link up to any mobile devices wireless with range of 30 feet and with battery life up to 7 hours.

According to Bose, they placed two tiny microphones in each earbud, the 1st mic senses the sound approaching and the 2nd mic measures the sound inside.
The measurements will send a signal to the digital electronic chip with “Bose TriPort® technology “ located in the control module of the headphones. Its like carrying a mixer in your headphones and the mixer is small and lighter than your phone.
The digital electronic chip –- exclusive to Bose, and the first of its kind -- calculates an equal and opposite noise cancellation signal within a fraction of a millisecond.
The resulting noise reduction is so dramatic, it has to be heard to be believed.
One of the best feature of Bose® QuietComfort® 20 headphones is the AWARE mode. You can listen to your music and later on observe the audio surroundings, you can listen to music with no problems, if you are waiting for your someone in a café and someone calls you, there’s no need to remove your headphones to hear what they say, because the AWARE mode can help you be aware of what’s the sound happening around you.
But if there’s AWARE mode, there’s also the NOISE CANCELLING tech provided by the Bose Triport technology, you can listen to music as in total focus, even if there’s a lot of noise around you, it will be you, your Bose and your music. But make sure you don’t close your eyes when listening to music, because you might miss your jeepney ride or your friend calling you from behind.
Stayhear in-ears
I call it the Bose horn in-ear, a rep. from Eleksis Marketing Corp, the official distributor of Bose, told me that all new release of in-ear headphones got this new design. It can fit to any ear and it gives a nice “hold on” amigo to your ear using those layer of ear’s canyon –that’s what I call it hahahaa.

At the product demo. They told me to wear it and listen to a music. I super enjoyed that Maroon 5 music, then I closed my eyes and continue to groove with the music, then the product demo guy tap me and told me to open my eyes, then he played a very LOUD video of a traffic scene in Manila.
My facial reaction is very priceless… damn.that noise cancelling tech really works. Also after that test, we tried the AWARE mode, and the product demo guy simulated an airport lobby scene, while we listen to music, we can hear little crowd sound and then the announcer at the airport speaks and update us that our flight is ready to board their passengers.
Here’s the control module. It attach and connect to your Bose® QuietComfort® 20, it needs battery juice, and without it, the AWARE and noise cancelling feature will not work in a regular Bose® QuietComfort® 20 with the control module.
Charging time is 2 hours and it can give you a 16 hours of battery life
