“Philippines
is the center stage, the Filipino people are the performers and your support are
the applause”, Those are the strong words by our Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez

Promotions Board yesterday , a day before the Philippine Travel Mart. They
launched this new campaign that can attract millions of foreigner for next year
2015, the campaign “Visit the Philippines Year 2015”, will make sure that our
foreign visitors will visit more, explore more and fall in love with the
Philippines, because DOT and TPB will make sure that “It’s More Fun in the
Philippines”.
The new campaign is all about us..the pinoys, its not just
the destinations anymore, but the fun to be part of us, mingle with us or join
the party with us. 2015 have a boombastic line up events that will take stage
here in our soil, one of them is the Papal visit, the One Direction Concert,
the Malasimbo Festival, the APEC summit, the events and festival happening in
Boracay, Bohol, Cebu, Palawan and more. Its not just about festivals, its also
about our UNESCO World Heritage Sites, these sites are well known here and we
should invite them to visit and be captivated with the sights, sound and
experience.
In line with the new campaign for 2015. DOT will collaborate
with the Filipino people to enlist their events, festivals, expo or anything
festive, you can log in and register to their revitalized website

“What will truly sustain Visit the Philippines Year 2015
campaign are the people themselves. I enjoin the businesses, communities and
locals, to play an active part in spreading and amplifying our messages,
enticing would-be visitors to come visit our shores,” said Tourism Secretary
Ramon Jimenez Jr.
Yes!
the campaign comes also a new TVC that will air soon. I hope they can air this
as early, so that many foreign visitors book their vacations at an early date.
Not
just the beaches, the island or provinces, DOT makes some more push to attract
visitors to check out our UNESCO World Heritage site. I’ve seen some but I
haven’t been to more of it, but let’s add that to our travel bucket list.
Its
more fun here!!
If you want to visit our country, just let me know and I can
help you connect with DOT and the right people for your Philippine vacation.
