6TH PHILIPPINE-INTERNATIONAL PYROMUSICAL COMPETITION 2015
MEXICO AND NETHERLANDSOn its 3rd week, the competition for the Pyromusical lighted up the skies and bay front of SM Mall of Asia. We were there to watch the performance of two new participating country - Sirius Pyrotechnics from Mexico and Royal Fireworks of The Netherlands. Before the start of the competition, many rumors and raves of comments are coming out in social media, they say that Sirius Pyrotechnics of Mexico is a bit dramatic when it comes to pyromusical performance because it won several awards already in other contest, while for Royal Fireworks of the Netherlands are popular for firing up their pyro technics over the water, we haven’t seen this performance yet, but firing up over the water is very risky and also……awesome!
SMDC brought us here after the showroom tour in SM MOA, we seated at the VIP area where we enjoyed the view and also dinner under the firing sky. The crescent moon added more drama and conjunctions of Mars and Venus sparkle in the darkest area of our night sky.

TEAM MEXICO PYRO PERFORMANCE
Sirius Pyrotechnics used a live music of a rock band, its like we’re watching a live concert and gig, but I can’t figure out what band they playing. The rock band vocalist talks to their audience and then plays a rock song and then fireworks lights up the sky performaning with the rock music.
During the half set of the pyro performance they also played some kind of oriental music, not sure if its Chinese or Korean.
TEAM NETHERLANDS PYRO PERFORMANCERoyal Fireworks is the crowd favorite, we saw the pyro on waters during its finale run. It was awesome and I’m glad that I changed my view during their performance to see the main barge in Manila Bay. The fireworks are colorful and in sync with their symphonic music. Their performance routine starts from an audio recording of a story book teller and then shifted to pure symphonic during its 2nd set.
