Kakao Talk has announced that the messenger service will be releasing its latest feature, Open Chat. This service, which is currently exclusive to Korea, will be available to the Philippines this coming October 11, 2015.
The Open Chat service will allow Kakao Talk users to interact with a wider group of people without giving up their account details. The service also allows hosts to share their room’s link, which can be a viable option for online sellers to connect with their customers in real time.

Every Open Chat rooms will have a maximum capacity of 500 people. Hosts can also designate the maximum number of users that can participate in any given Open Chat. And similar to MiRC chat rooms, hosts have the capacity to kick or ban people in their rooms as well.

The October 11 rollout will update the iOS and Android versions of Kakao Talk, so you can try it out there once it comes live.
