Haier Group goes on full blast this early 2016, and it’s a surprise that the series of new appliances offered for the Philippine market is perfectly good and very affordable in line with the pinoy standard of living, I'm not aware that they have a lot of appliances available not just a ref, aircon and washing machine, but they also have an Android smart TV and coffee maker too.
One of the big news that I learned is that Haier is a China brand and they recently acquired Sanyo and GE appliance business, this expanded more the line up of products and also tech in their appliances.
Haier’s presence were felt last year when they launched new set of air conditioning machine and smart TV and then their presence was felt again when they jumped into warp space with Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie.
Last December they introduced some Haier appliances with Star Wars design, the most popular item is the walking and interactive life size scale R2D2 refrigerator. It’s a bold move of Haier, but Im happy that they are doing what they can in revolutionizing a way of branding their products with pop culture content and for me it really works! (I really like to own that R2D2 fridge haha)
For the start of 2016, they also introduced their young President and CEO for Haier Philippines, Mr. Nobuhito Hayashi, he mentioned that the company and its employees will be in their best performance because they practice open communication, team empowerment and always be involved in the company’s project. The start of the new year for Haier in the Philippines is to introduce new small and big appliances for the pinoy market.
