I’m so happy that there’s another cinema just opened at the southern side of the metro. The new cinema – Vista Cinema of Vista Mall has proven that they are the most luxurious cinema in the country and also features one of the first to bring MX4D Motion EFX Theater in the Philippines, it’s a much updated and modern theatrical seat with rumbles, swaying and wiggling comfy seat, wind and water splashes effect, scent and aroma effects, lights and smokes, back poker, leg tickler and butt blasting effect. Feel the movie effects in your seat!
It was an OMG and WHOA comment after taking my first ride with their MX4D, the intro video for the MX4D just gave all the high tech effects that can trigger to fool our senses. Whatever the environment, effects, scene and action can be felt in real life when you watched a movie here at MX4D.
Vista Cinema is located at Vista Mall located within the area of Evia Lifestyle Center in Daang Hari.
People from the South, especially in Cavite, Alabang and Las Pinas will have a new choice to have a different and much awesome movie experience outside the metro.
Vista Cinema just opened last Feb 2016, and they have 4 kinds of cinema that can cater to different movie goers’ preference.
Cinema 1 – MX4D cinema (SRP per ticket is PHP 450-500) (with 80 seats)
Cinema 2 – VIP Seating with Dolby Atmos (PHP 395-400) (with 62 seats)
Cinema 3 – Dolby Atmos (PHP 270-300) (with 168 seats)
Cinema 4 – Dolby Atmos (PHP 270-300) (with 169 seats)
The price ranges are quite similar to some cinemas in the metro. But the most talked about part here in Vista Cinemas is that their cinemas are equipped with Dolby Atmos sound tech and the seats are made from a luxury brand -- Figueras, a Spanish brand that makes high quality and high end seating for public spaces, they are the supplier for the seats in The White House and Philharmonie de Paris. The luxurious cinema seats of Vista Cinema are also made by LUXUS by Lee Designs, a design company in the business of creating ergonomic interior solutions for 40 years. The Luxus seats are ergonomically- designed cinema seating, specially customized for Vista Cinema's unique theater space plan.
The MX4D EFX Theater is one of the 1st in the Philippines, they are not the same with that 4DX in BGC Cinema and not entirely the same with 4DX of SM Cinema. The MX4D EFX is a new and much improved motion effect seat for movies. Media Mation, the developer of MX4F EFX are accredited by film studios to formulate and program MX4D EFX effects for their movies. It means that Media Mation create these seat effects for us movie goers, and when the film studio approves their design, it will be distributed globally to cinemas with MX4D EFX accredited theaters and operators.
More blockbuster movies will be added in the roster for MX4D EFX and the only cinema we can watch it are here in Vista Cinema
Btw, There’s also a Vista Mall located in Taguig City, They do also have the VIP Theater, Dolby Atmos cinema and a 3D cinema, so if you are in the mid part of the metro, just drop by a visit there and feel the a new and unique movie experience.
MX4D EFX Theater in Vista Cinema features 80 seats
House rules inside the theater :
1. Pregnant are not allowed
2. Children cannot seat (or ride) alone
3. People with motion sickness are not recommended to try this
4. If felt dizzy or nauseous, then calm down and exit the seat when its not moving
5. FOOD and DRINKS – are not allowed, the only allowed food are mineral water and pop corm, the reason is not to contaminate the scent effects in their movies and also prevent the food from spilling to your seats when MX4D EFX takes effect.
6. Bring a jacket, its super cold inside this cinema
7. Wear your 3D glasses anytime, because an air blast and water blast to your face can happen anytime.
For our ride and try of Vista Cinema’s MX4D EFX, we watched the movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Its my 2nd time to watch it. My first was in IMAX 3D and then for my 2nd is here at the MX4D EFX theater of Vista Cinemas.
I can say that it is more than just a movie screening, it was like a ride from a theme park and the seat movements goes endless as the movie plays on the screen. Batman v Superman is almost 3 hours, so expect 3 hours of seat action and feel the movie itself by using your sense of sight, smell, hear, and feeling.
For example, the movie shows a forest with dried leaves flying away into the character – the MX4D will trigger a wind effect and scent of dried leaves into your seats and this will happen at the same time on the screen.
Batman and Superman throw punches to each other….. oh boy, yeah.. we felt those punches and kicks, but it was like a pinch from a massage chair. Its ticklish and funny, but you will feel it as it happens on screen.
Flashes of lights and smoke effects will pop out infront of the cinema screen, it will happen if ever the movie shows a smoke effect and environment that are need to have flashes of light.

We are informed that these are the next line up of movie titles that will go MX4D EFX.
This coming April 27th, Vista Cinema will do a midnight screening of Captain America: Civil War on MX4D and other cinemas. They already launched a pre selling of ticket for the screening and they will play the movie for 24 hours in Vista Cinema.
