BLOG STORY:
We arrived at Playa Laiya Beach Club in San Juan, Laiya, Batangas at around 11am. I think the travel time is around 3 hours if you come from Makati City. But I can say that the road trip from Makati-SLEX-Star Toll Way-San Juan, Batangas is smooth and fast!
We arrived here just in time for a quick resort tour and also to eat our lunch

PLAYA LAIYA BEACH CLUB - THE NEXT SUMMER DESTINATION THIS 2017
Each guest who arrived at Playa Laiya Beach Club are treated with a welcome drink and a cold face towel to freshen up your face and wake up your mood.
The blueberry iced tea is very refreshing!
Here are the rates for their water sports activity.
Inquire before hand for the availability of their water sports activity.
If you forgot to bring your swimming attire, then check out their mini store at the welcome pavilion. You can buy swim wear and inflatables for kids
This is their welcome pavilion that houses their office, reception area, comfort room and a restaurant with dining area at the 2nd floor.
There's also the bath house with lockers.
You can inquire here if you need to rent a beach towel or lockers.
It is also advised that you bring your own toiletries and towel
The bath house is closely similar to the design at Aquaria Water Park, it is very spacious, clean and I like the bigger shower area.
Before we enter the beach club, each of us day trippers should wear this orange water proof strap. To mark us that we are the beach club official guest.
This is also for security purposes and to prevent non guest to use their facilities.
The entire complex of Playa Laiya Beach Club is so big! its a lot more bigger and spacious than Aquaria Water Park in Calatagan, Batangas. Im glad that they have stone pathways to use to walk from the beach up to the swimming pool or to your cabanas.
Here's their kiddie pool and their infinity pool.
The infinity pool has a divider to prevent kids going to the 5 feet deep pool area. Also the other side can served as a lap pool for swimmers.
my son Ashton super enjoyed the pool
We played around and have fun til sunset.
The pool is much more cooler than the sea. that's why we use our time here at the pool.
Playa Laiya Beach Club offers also the beach front cabana. This is good for 6-10 persons. We just left out things here when we went to a near island. I was worried at first but then I was told that there's a security guard that are on stand by near our cabanas.
whew!
The only thing that lack here is electric plugs. Make sure you bring your own power bank and portable chargers.
There are tables and chairs that are ready to use. Feel free to use it when its vacant. You can enjoy your me-time here while enjoying the sun and beach.
the beach
You can see that there are lots of fishing boats at the far side of the beach. Locals live there and they share the same beach with Playa Laiya Beach Club.
But here at the beach front of Playa Laiya Beach Club, there are no fishing boats and there's a perimeter line for swimmers.
Cabanas and beach chairs
Wow! their security guards are fully armed.
Also there's a life guard on duty at the beach front
Sympre when there's the beach and my family is with me.
It means that its time for a photo shoot!
Here's my wife Lace trying on for the first time her new swim suit.
My son Ashton enjoys the sand at the beach. He spends more time playing with the beach sand and instead of swimming hahah.
THE ISLAND HOPPING
Playa Laiya Beach Club invited us to try their island hopping. I told my wife and son that they can come with us or stay at the beach club if they are too afraid to ride the boat. But then my son wants to join the boat ride and island hopping, because he wants more adventures, he invited mommy Lace to join with us even if she's so afraid to ride the boat.
Then they realized, the ocean is calm and the boat is safe to ride. Also we wear life vest anytime.
PAMPANG ISLAND
Local fishermen call this Pampang island. Im not even sure if thats the real name of the island. Its a nearby island that you can visit for an island day tour.
Pampang island has beach pebble sands and a rocky coast. But its a good spot for snorkeling and diving.
The fun here is that...there's no one lives in the side of the islamd.
Im not even sure if this is really an island or its just a far side of the Laiya beach. After doing some research at Google Maps --- I learned that it is not really an island.
Pampang Island is a far away beach right after the commercial developed beach shorelines at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. And the only way to go here is to ride the boat.
so let's name it -- Pampang beach located in Imelda, Batangas.
We found a heart shaped stone!
Close up look of the pebble sand at Pampang beach
Achievement unlocked for my son Ashton....nakapag island hop na sya LOL
Sympre. di mawawala ang photoshoot volume 2.
Local fishermen told us that they eat these small hermit crabs. They soak it in vinegar, then saute it with garlic and cook it adobo style.
I wonder what's the taste of it.
As for me.. My fave activity is snorkeling.
After snorkeling, the rubber strap of my goggles snap off. awww. Time to buy a new one
THE SANDS RESTAURANT
Its funny that they named the restaurant too--- The Sands. Oh I forgot, the developer and owner of this resort is the same of Aquaria which is the Landco Pacific Development Inc.
wow!
THE FOOD
You can also order your ala carte food at The Sands.
They are open til 6pm
If you are on a large group, its best to order a buffet lunch for everyone.
Para eat and swim all day!
WATER SPORTS ACTIVITY
The brave bloggers who tried the banana boat and the sting ray.
I didn;t even volunteered. Because Im so scared to ride those things ahhaahha
You can also rent a kayak canoe
or if you have your own...just bring it.
Banana boat --- uy mahulog!
Stingray or the flying fish. The most extreme inflatable ride here in Playa Laiya.
Snorkeling.
There's nothing to see under water. Its just a plain sand under us, but I saw some small fishes swimming around.
My view from the sea
Also there's full body massage available for guest. Just ask the front desk if you want to avail the massage. The rate is PHP 500 for full body.
The beach became so quiet during sun down. Because all resort guest are taking a shower and while others are here having a photo shoot using the sunset as their back drop.
Its near 6pm, before we leave Playa Laiya Beach Club, we should watch the sunset til the end.
Wow! the sunset view showed us the three mountains here in Batangas.
Sobra ganda! the sunset view is much more different here compare it to Calatagan, Batangas.
I was expecting to see a similar sunset by the sea, but then here at Playa Laiya Beach Club, you'll see the sunset and the silhouette of the three mountains.
Thanks so much for reading my blog post!
I hope you learned a lot of things about Playa Laiya Beach Club.
Feel free to comment if you want to ask something about the resort.
