Inside: YOUTUBE POP UP SPACE MANILA year 2 - a place to learn, create and connect

Youtube support the creative communities around the world and they are back here in Manila for the 2nd year of Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila, a venue for Filipino Content Creators to learn, create and connect with fellow Youtubers and learn more from workshop mentors.

Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila opened yesterday October 19 and it will run through October 21, 2017 at the ground floor rooms of Green Sun Makati. Youtubers with at least 1,000 subscribers were invited via email and was selected to be part of the workshop and learning session with Youtube mentors to learn about video production, understand the Youtube algorithm, and collaborate with fellow Youtubers present at the workshop.

Youtube will let them use the special equipment in filming their vlogs, video blogs, Youtube presentation and also get a chance to use special rooms for their video content.

We learned from the grand launch of Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila, that there are other pop up space in other parts of the world, some of them are permanent and while others are temporary. Here in Manila we only have the temporary Youtube Pop-up Space, but there are plans for Youtube to have a permanent space here soon, so better watch out for the info soon.

For Permanent Pop Up space they have it in - Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Mumbai, New York, Paris, Rido de Janiero, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Toronto.

For temporary Pop Up space they have it in -- Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Seoul, Taipei and Sydney.

At the launch of Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila, they also presented 12 finalist for Youtube's competition -- Youtube Next Up. Each Youtubers with 10,000++ subscribers were selected in a screening process conducted months ago and they will join a series of workshop and training at the Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila, they will undergo training with Youtube mentors who are also professional vloggers or content creators and also Youtube Next Up Alumni.

After the workshop, each participant of Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila will compete to win a grand prize of PHP100,000 worth of video equipment and studio provided by Youtube.

Bam Aquino was present at the launch of Youtube Pop Up Space Manila and he supported the initiative and advocacy of Youtube for teaching the youth in creating good video content at Youtube.

Youtuber Niana Guerrero of https://www.youtube.com/user/nianaguerrero just received a Gold Play Button Award from Youtube for reaching her first 2 Million subscribers.

Niana is popular in Youtube for uploading a video series of herself and brother dancing and doing karaoke inside the car.

Vloggers and workshop participants were invited to try and use the Halloween room for their skit and video production.

If there's a room for video production, then there's also a video editing room.

To use the special rooms, registered participants should contact Youtube Pop-Up Space Manila to schedule themselves to use the room for 1 hour.

After first day of workshop, Youtube invited everyone to come and visit the party to have a fun connect and collab with fellow vloggers and Youtubers.

Almost everyone were there and its so hard to do a vlog episode because everyone are vlogging non stop.

I've met also our fellow members at Vlog Rangers and Youtube Vloggers Philippines, we finally met after almost 3 months -- we first met during Toycon 2017 and they are vlogger guest for the Creators Stage.
