Hey guys, Im back again for another smartphone feature and review. This time, its for the Huawei Y7. This is my first time to try and get to know more about a kind of Huawei under the & Series. I did some research and I've learned that their Y series target the users who are "in" for the entry level smartphone or beginner smartphone.
But I noticed that the pricing is lower and under PHP10,000 and the price is on the range of lower than PHP5,000 and on the mid range of PHP 6,000 to PHP7,000 only. Which is on the level of affordability with a better tech specs of the smartphone
For the Huawei Y7, Im impressed with its tech specs and features, the performance can compete with the latest mid range smartphones (with prices PHP10,000 and up)
During the start of my hands on test, I felt uncomfortable with the screen and touch performance, Im not yet used to for its sensitivity, but after weeks of test and try, I finally appreciated the entire performance of the Huawei Y7, Im using the phone for social media, photos and gaming.

The good news is that it is powered by Google Mobile Services, it means that it has a Google Play Store and some Google apps.
There's also Huawei's one App Gallery. I placed it in my front screen so that I can access it easily.

Wow! I didn't expected that this Huawei Y7 will be good! Thank goodness that this smartphone is running with a 4GB RAM, I guess thats a better RAM specs for entry level smartphones that helps running multiple apps and also mobile games.
I like the big screen, I did some comparison with my Huawei P30 and I noticed that the screen of the Huawei Y7 is much bigger and wider than the slim screen of the Huawei P30. That's a big difference when it comes to screen display sizes. Although that I noticed that the phone body is so smooth and I really like using it without the jelly case. But we still need to protect the Huawei Y7 from damages when it falls to the ground. Using smartphone cases can save your phone from cracks but it sacrifices the slim body size and smoothness of the back of the phone. So decide if you want a no case or with case.

The fast responsive face recognition is also present.
Wow! for a PHP 6,000+ price range, you get the great feature of a mid range level smartphone.
Is it good for vlogging?
Yes it is!
With the dual rear camera it can shoot up to 1080p and the front camera can shoot up to 720p. I did a series of test and it was okay. The only thing that lack is the video stabilization. But if you mount it on a tripod or use a gimbal, you get great results.

Huawei Y7 is a good and better entry level smartphone. I did try some entry level smartphone before in other brand, but their kind is very slow and camera is a bit poor. But here for the Huawei Y7, it performed as it was close to a mid range smartphone.
I thought that this unit will be slow, but Im glad that the 4GB RAM did really a good job for the performance of the Huawei Y7. I do believe that having at least 4GB RAM will put the phone to its best feature. So target this phone if you are looking for an extra phone or to replace your other phone.
