thanks to FAD for publishing and sharing the pics to their blog website, I just like to answer their post = " “Azrael” was at the Playboy Philippines anniversary last Friday and he’s happy to report that he survived it. They tried to kill him with boring things and a boring venue, but they failed! "

well, I like to correct that I enjoyed the event, because all my friends were there and meeting new people from the local blogging circle is fun and also I co-organized the bloggers party and not the anniversary party, Playboy Philippines is kind to host a party for us bloggers. The event is not boring, many people enjoyed our program that is hosted by me. I can tell, because I was there and saw many are happy that we have our own bloggers party.

Join PLAYBOY Philippines as it celebrates its first birthday with its biggest issue ever! Photographer KRISTINE SOGUILON lenses the magazine’s most ambitious cover yet, leading into a nautical-themed pictorial, All Hands On Deck, featuring our previous Playmates guaranteed to shiver anyone’s timbers. To document this historic shoot, we take readers Inside: Behind the Scenes of a PLAYBOY Pictorial for a special look into the work that became a labour of love for all involved. We also tag along for the Playmate Anniversary Getaway, where our girls take some well-deserved time to themselves. In the spirit of celebration, two of Deal or No Deal’s 26K Girls, ANDREA SHIN and RUBY BASCO take center stage as our Anniversary Playmates of the Month. Also exclusively, for the first time in the Philippines, we are proud to present TETCHIE AGBAYANI’s legendary pictorial, straight from the German edition's archives. Sitting down with us for 20 Questions is Senator GRINGO HONASAN, speaking on his experiences on both sides of the law. Rounding off the month is an excerpt from legendary screenwriter RICKY LEE’s recently-released first novel “Para Kay B: Ester”. Living up to PLAYBOY’s status as the ultimate men’s lifestyle magazine, we present for this month features on Andropause (the male version of menopause), and what to ask your tailor for when buying the perfect suit. It’s our birthday, ladies and gents, and you won’t believe what we’ve got coming up.

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR PLAYBOY: YEAR ONE
A lot can happen in a year, and Heaven knows the last 12 months have been nothing, if not tumultuous, for the global economy. We in the magazine business certainly haven’t been immune: Every day, we read or hear about publications folding or opting for the online route. We at PLAYBOY believe there’s something to be said for the written word that you can hold in your hand (to say nothing of the inherent joy of physically opening a Centerfold).

I realize I would be remiss if I didn’t admit to the birthing pains that we experienced (and continue to experience, to some extent) starting out, but I would be outright negligent if I didn’t make mention of the outstanding work being put out by my core editorial team. Over the past few months, they have never ceased to impress me with their tireless energy, ability and outright enthusiasm that shows on every page of the magazine you now hold.

As we graduate from our freshman status and enter our sophomore year, I thank our readers, who have been with us since the beginning. For your loyalty, your letters, and most especially your criticisms, I thank you. For those of you picking us up for the first time, welcome to the family.

Believe me when I say, ladies and gentlemen, we’re just getting started.
