If
you are within the area of Ortigas Center and want to try some new restaurant or
good food, or if ever not a food, an entire buffet treat that will make your
tummy tap down and surrender with a full stomach, then you should try buffet
meal that can save you from pricey restos. Buffet is a new trend in the food
business and the good thing is that some resto are offering it in an affordable
price, it’s a battle between an ala carte meal vs. food buffet, there are restos
that serve an all day buffet, dinner, breakfast or brunch, others do merianda
buffet, but I observe that many are not happy with merienda buffet, (kasi puro
pancit daw ).
But
here in
Q Bistro, the brunch buffet they offer is not an
ordinary meal, its coming from the sorcery and food innovation of their inhouse
chefs. Paying a price of Php300 for a platter meal from a resto can be beaten by
a buffet brunch for only Php315 of Q Bistro, plus you will be served by their
waiter, sitting in a nice comfy chair, enjoy listening a relaxing music and a
good hideout for you and your tummy to absorb and repel all stress. Its just you
and your food.
Q
bistro offers this Brunch Buffet for only Php 315, it includes all brunch meals
and breakfast meal at the buffet, juice and coffee are also included, so no need
for you to pay other fees for your beverage.
**offered til April 2013
Q
Bistro sits at the back of Malayan Plaza, it’s a condo hotel infront of the
parking lot of Podium mall, and also right after the Discovery Suite (yeah its
another hotel).
Q Bistro also known in offering a series of buffet every
week. For example, they have this Roast Beef Buffet priced at Php 425, offered
on Tues and Thurs. Mongolian Buffet every Fridays at Php 295 and then the Brunch
Buffet at Php 315 only. The Roast Beef and Mongolian are offered every lunch and
dinner.
I was informed that Q Bistro’s Roast Beef Buffet and Mongolian
Buffet will have a new schedule
I’ll update this with an accurate info. But
you can call them at Tel: 706-1668-69 for inquiries.
I’ve been here in Q
Bistro last year for their Roast Beef Buffet, you can view my video blog here
and check out our lunch treat -

Entering
the Q Bistro resto welcomed me with this garlic rice and pasta
Herb
Chicken and Beef Goulash
Its not a lot of food, but its just right for a
brunch buffet meal, Q Bistro’s customers are mostly people who are early
practicing running, or have attended marathons, early bird shoppers, and also
some hotel guests.

For me it’s a light meal with a heavy
impact on your tummy.
Baked
Potato and Bacon
Must try… me and my wife love this!! you know that I love
bacon, the potato sips all the juices and taste of the bacon after it was bake
with it. The bacon stays its original flavor and still more yummier. I love
this!!
Fish
ala Chowder
Tasty fish, it woke me up when it first landed on my mouth. I
didn’t get another one because the bacon already distracted me
Herb
Chicken
For the chicken lovers, I took a bite, but then the next food photo
distracted me the most
Beef
Goulash
I love the food when it is beef and tomato sauce, combined them
together and you’ll see me targeting this, my 2nd favorite after the bacon
thing. I ate another set of this on my 2nd plate.

They
also serve this special signature roastbeef flakes with rice, priced at
P205
They
also offer some ala carte from their menu, you can order this if you want more
food on the table
Arroz
Caldo special, the waiter told me to their arroz caldo, because it was special,
so I tried it and put some toppings of dried dilis, onion leaves, fried garlic
and salted egg. Its my first time to eat an arroz caldo with dilis and salted
egg, and it tastes good! I will try this at home next time.
Here’s
the Roast Beef Flakes with rice and egg. I suggest that you try a sunny side up
egg, it fuses with the taste of the flakes and it will give more flavor,
eliminating the crunchy and salty of the roastbeef.
Or
you can dip it in vinegar and taste another version of the roast beef flakes.
According to Chef Mia, the flakes are all hand powered by them to prepare it for
you. Using a machine won’t get the thin cut for the flakes
After
our meal, me and my wife got a nice chat with Chef Mia and we learned that they
are already preparing for Valentines Day. They have a discount promo for
Valentines Day and it is offered at Deal Grocer, visit this link -
https://dealgrocer.com/private-sale
They
will accommodate at around 30 couples this coming Feb 14, 2013
They
will also offer their 2nd floor area for Valentines Day date, a perfect area for
couples who want to have a private dinner with their partner.
I also
heard that Q Bistro will have a Chinese Buffet this Feb 10, for brunch, lunch
and dinner.
Thanks
to Chef Mia for inviting us again, I super love hanging out here and my next
visit might be on a date with my wife for her birthday.
