Globe Business just launched another first, and its the first trunkline service in the Philippines. The service is called ONECall, a virtual trunkline just like any other trunkline services we know in companies and different offices, but this trunkline is much different from the old version of trunkline, because the service has a mobile extension service and can be operated by a receptionist or a Interactive Voice Response (IVR). SME's and small offices can benefit the service, one subscription can have one virtual trunkline, and its up to the subscriber if he needs to direct the calls operated by receptionist in the office or just having an IVR. I just saw the demo at the event and I'm very impressed on the new technology, a subscriber can have a landline number just like the GLOBE DUO, and it will be channel through the software of ONECall that can be operated or do a preset using an IVR. They have a 7 days free trial of the service, and the software web interface of ONECall is easy to use and customizable.
I'll try the demo and will post a review soon.

Globe Business continues with its mission to innovate and come up with solutions that fit the needs of businesses with the launch of ONEcall—the first and only virtual trunkline service in the Philppines.
A specially designed office mobility solution for corporations and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), ONEcall enables people to collectively stay connected at anytime with just one landline number. Combining the functionality and power of a PBX phone system with the reach and flexibility of mobile phones, ONE Call transform your existing Globe cellphone into a powerful business phone system—a virtual trunkline where all the extensions or local numbers are made up of mobile phones of your employees.
Upon subscription to the service, the company will get a ONEcall landline office number that connects the employees’ mobile phones to an easy-to-use web-based switchboard which has all the features of a high end telephone system. When customers call the ONEcall number, they will either be routed to a customized recorded voice message or Interactive Voice Response (IVR) or to a receptionist. Calls can then be transferred either to employees’ cellphones or to call groups that the company has set up.
“Companies could dramatically boost customer service and their operations by routing incoming calls to the mobile phones of their employees or other intended recipients with ONEcall. Now client needs can be attended to immediately, which makes client servicing more efficient,” Globe Business Head Gil Genio said.
This was confirmed by Globe Business Corporate and SME Segments Head Manny Aligada. “With ONEcall, the company’s whole staff can stay accessible to clients—with just one number to remember. And unlike traditional phone systems that demanded an upfront investment, ONEcall does not charge you or your company any hardware, software, cabling, or installation fees. Maintenance fees likewise do not exist,” Aligada said.
