This feature and review is a little late, but I got a chance to try and review for an hour this new camera line of Samsung, this unit is called the NX10 and I can't tell if it is a DSLR or a compact camera, because the features and function is like an ordinary Samsung compact camera with features of SMART auto technology, AMOLED display, Beauty shots, frame by frame shots and it has a great power in low light condition, but it is not a compact camera, because you can remove and change lenses like a DSLR, from a 30mm prime lens or up to a standard lens or to a 200mm zoom lens, but as they say, this is the new generation of camera that was developed by Samsung.
Not that heavy, and its lighter than your ordinary DSLR camera, the NX10 has a DSLR body but the mechanics and tech inside is from a compact camera with new and upgraded features that will work like a DSLR. I still scratch my feed and played this camera with professional photographer Jeff Saw at the launch of the NX10 and photo exhibit by some celeb photographers in Rockwell Center (check it out, exhibit will run til Sunday). The NX10 can shoots video and can perform. According to this manual, the NX10 don't have a mirror inside the body like in the DSLR, they replaced the mirror system with a highly sensitive 14.6 megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor.
I'm still wondering more about this camera and its performance and the rendering time in it are a little bit slow, because the saving of the media file in its SD card writes and depends on your camera setting.
Check out below of some of my sample shots using the NX10.
