Star Movies did a movie marathon contest here in Manila, and the big prize is a super cash prize of P100,000. The mechanics is that you must survive watching all the movies shown in the cinema and receive challenges while watching movie like beat the cold air con of Newport Cinema, eat ice cream inside the cinema, finish the drink, eat Greenwich pizza and no bathroom breaks, you are not allowed also to blink, stretch or even yawn. Now I wonder which of the contestants wears a disposable diaper under their pants, its a funny idea, but you know that back out in joining this contest and I remembered that my kidney might fail if I didn't go to the bathroom to pee, and I dont want to go back to the hospital ever again. But I saw that the movies goers are so competitive, from 100 participants at 9am, I later found out that the remaining valid participants is now 20 at around 5pm, I just dont know who won the contest, but I heard that if everyone stays till midnight, they will divide the money prize. They started with Iron Man movies, Indiana Jones, Shrek trilogy and ohh forgot that the first film to watch was The Godfather Trilogy, I expected that and I know lot of people yawned on that movie, but for me it will be the best film for me, because I want to watch it. Star Movies did a crazy contest and they mean serious business in the word "marathon" its like running and swimming, this is a competition and everyone should be serious in watching.
I just quit taking a peak of the Godfather because they are now showing part 3, then we moved to the thanks giving dinner of Star Movies with the media people and I learned some great news from them.
