I saw that there's another Gundam Model Kit Caravan roaming around the malls, last Saturday was at SM Megamall event center and I saw a lot of crowd circling the booths, exhibits and the model kit tables. I checked the caravan event after we dine at Avenetto pizzeria with my family. I heard that if you joined the on the spot Gundam build that model kit contest, you can take home that finished kit after judging. (I just heard that from a kid who also joined the contest)

I'm a former collector and builder of Gundam, I think when Gundam Wing went on our local tv, there's a big demand of model kits after it, and then I surfed around for some anime of Gundam and been a fan of some of the classic and old Gundam story and also the toy. Most of my favorites are F91, 08th MS team, and some movies, I forgot the titles but I remember that I first heard the word "New Type" here and RX 78, and I remembered I encounter RX 78 during the 80's, nakapulot kasi ako ng figure na RX 78 and can't recognize him, all I know is that his robot carries a shield and a light saber.
New Types and new Gundam fans will be recruited during this caravan, and hope that the hobby grows more and get more interest from kids. Its a fun hobby in building and also creating your own style Gundam robot.
