It's been a year since we last visited Trinity Ihaw Ihaw and Foodhouse in SM
Mall of Asia (I
posted a blog here ) . I'm happy that we are back here and I love
eating...especially when food is freshly cooked and prepared just for you. I'm
not an expert when it comes to paluto luto restaurants, where you choose the
fresh seafood and ingredients to a nearby wet market and let the resto's kitchen
cook it for you in flash, I just let the expert wife who is expert in almost
anything and let her do the food selection that we will eat for dinner.
I encountered this resto from my wife, because it was owned and operated
by the family of her college classmate, we eat here always because we know the
food is known for its home cooking style and also this is owned by Ashton's
ninang Thill hahahah.
I
didn't paid attention on the pricing, but I heard from Lace that the price is
around P1k only for a 3 set of meals and with rice. I know it’s a big serving,
so I let her get three food for us 3 plus mini me.
Lace ordered –
Sinigang na baboy, Tempura and Curry Pork.
While we placed our order and
let the cook prepare the meal, we went out of the resto and stroll around the
San Miguel By The Bay in SM Mall of Asia, its crowded that time around 5pm, many
people stay here to walk, eat, enjoy the sunset view and rides.
check out the crowd of people by the bay
Also,
we saw that there’s a set up of program that will happen that evening, before
the grand fireworks display, they will light up the Christmas tree and there’s a
parade of lights that will roam around SM MOA,
Here’s
Ate M, Ashon and Lace
LOL,
took a photo of these people while they fly via a zip line…funny thing is that
they posed for me while I took this shot hahahaha…thanks!
Here’s
the much awaited sunset by the bay, everyone are having their own photo op while
watch the sun goes down
I
think this is Ashton’s first time to see the sunset by the bay, he giggles when
he saw the ocean up close for the first time, he haven’t tried swimming in the
sea, but I’;m sure he will love play around the sand and sea when we visit a
nearby beach next year.
Here’s
the Christmas tree with Lace, Ash and Ate M.
We went back to Trinity after our short stroll around the
area of the bay, we ate here our dinner early before we watch the grand
fireworks display outside.
Pork
Curry
Trinity have their own version of curry, its creamy and not that spicy,
I’m not sure if Lace told the cook to lessen the spice so that our son can eat
it, Ashton loves the creamy sauce when he tried it, the pork is cut in strips,
so its easy to slice it and chew.
Pork
Sinigang
I thought that Lace ordered a fish head sinigang, but she told me
that she don’t like to eat fish for the moment and that’s why she ordered a Pork
Sinigang. Pork is the best ingredient to a Sinigang, its tasty and its always
the best, if fish head sinigang, the after taste gives a fishy taste and also
smell, I haven’t tried a beef sinigang, but pork is always the best and tasty,
never mind the fat of the meat, which I usually don’t eat it
Tempura
My
wife always raves about how yummy their tempura, so she ordered it again and
finally…there’s a seafood in our table hahaha. I was going seafood and veggie
that night, so the kangkong in the sinigang and shrimp are hijacked by
me.
Thanks
Trinity for another tasty treat!!
After
our dinner at Trinity, we went back to San Miguel By the bay and there we
watched the grand fireworks display of SM Mall of Asia.
Awesome night…and
I’m excited that we will go back here this Saturday!
yay!
