Travel
to the north side of Luzon and experience a grand of food festival at the 3rd
annual Big Bite: Northern Food Festival at the parking lot area of Marquee Mall
in Angeles, Pampanga. The food fest will bring 100 kinds of food concepts from
the Northern Luzon region this Oct 16-18, 2015. Entrance is FREE and also take a
time to over indulge yourself with the yummy “sisig” at the event, because
that’s the main specialty in Pampanga and it’s a must have, must eat and never
leave town without a single bite of sisig.
Yesterday at the opening day,
Big Bite showcased three kinds of “sisig” that was cooked in different way – in
Pampanga, we have the traditional pork sisig cooked by Chef Sau del Rosario, for
Pangasinan there’s the Bangus sisig cooked by Danilo Maramba , and for Ilocos
kind of sisig, Chef Jackie dela Cruz cooked a dinakdakan sisig.
It was a
Sisig Festival yesterday, but my heart goes to the traditional sisig because
it’s the kind of sisig I always eat during my youngling days.
Food,
sweets, traditional dishes from Region 1, 2, 3 and Cordillera Administrative
Region will be there at the Big Bite food fest.
Rain or shine…booths will
be open for your tummy needs.

My wife was excited when she saw this Ipasul photo

the stove is made for “ipa” as fuel and not for coal and wood. And also power by
a mini electric blower to speed up the flame.
Here’s
