Million units of Fujifilm Instax camera were sold last 2015, that’s according to
Takuya Maeda, Fujifilm’s Philippines division head. Instax, the camera from
Fujifilm with portable printer, that prints photo in an instant is very popular
today because its fun to use it and you can make arts and crafts with it.
The summer 2016 campaign for Fujifilm is to introduce more about their
Instax product and share to everyone that you can do more with the photos you
print, not just a photo , but you can use it as décor, or home activity or a
souvenir for your family and friends.
The sample above is a DIY arts and
craft that I made in an instant with some cardboard, colored washi tape, Instax
photo print and a rough letter from me hahaha. Its so cute that you can keep it
forever. You are not required to attend a school for an arts and craft creation,
all you need to do is research a good reference as a guide, you can Google it or
check some tips on Facebook, or ask someone who is artsy for some tips and
creative advices.
Take note that the life span of an Instanx film is
longer than other photo print, because these films are printed without an ink on
the film. Just make sure that they are away from UV light or sun. Because UV
rays of the sun can kill the image and turn the photo into white wash image.
To
make the product more interesting, Fujifilm Philippines made a way to attract
new users and fans of Instax, they introduce a summer package set for new Instax
models.
The package includes the Instax camera, a set of films, some
models comes with a monopod, neck strap, ID lace, there’s also a leather bag,
wallet and pouch.

The
DIY arts and craft session yesterday with Fujifilm Philippines taught us to
bring our creative juices and use their Instax products and our Instax photo
print as an added art medium to our home items. For example, a blank and boring
desk calendar can be converted into an interesting family calendar.
You
can also make your own calendar and consider it as a souvenir or gift to a
friend.
Yesterday
at the Fujifilm Philippines’ Instax and Crafts activity, they introduced to us
their celebrity guest and Instax fan – Jasmine Curtis-Smith
Jasmine
and together with tv personality, event host and blogger Janena Chan, joined
with us making their own Instax and Crafts item using Instax photos.
It’s
a bit challenging for me in doing arts and craft, it took me 30 minutes to think
of an idea for a design to my Instax art. Here’s a photo of Janena and Jasmine
at their art table.
Jasmine
visited us at the table for a photo op and she used an Instanx Mini 70 for the
selfie shot
