Go to Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen-SM Aura for your hot and tasty premium Japanese ramen

During cold weather, we always crave for some hot and tasty ramen. But when the ramen boom started few years ago, lots of ramen house and restaurant opened their doors to serve us ramen lovers. But after quite some time, we learned how to select the best ramen ever here in the metro.

I first tasted Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen in Shangri La Mall during the ramen boom years and I was so happy with the serving they prepared and also the taste. I’ve been eating ramen since the 90s and I have tasted the best ramen from small ramen houses, but they are now closed and its sad that they didn’t got a chance to meet the ramen fans of the millennial age.

After tasting Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen, I started to love them because I’ve learned that I can customize my ramen by adding a lot of eggs and pork meat, A thing that I haven’t tried it yet back then, so after enjoying my first bite and was happy, I posted a blog post right back in 2014 -- read it here: https://azraelsmerryland.blogspot.com/2014/03/finally-my-new-ramen-flavor-is-at.html

Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen has lots of branches now here in Manila. Its funny that they have one branch in Bonifacio High Street and in SM Aura, and they are just few blocks away from each other.. When I was in BHS I was looking for a resto for my lunch, so I stumbled their BHS branch, but my way is going to SM Aura, where I will eat my early dinner with some friends at Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen-SM Aura branch.

So I skipped BHS even if Im tempted to try ramen at Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen - BHS, but I reserved this taste buds and excitement for my early dinner, and I just ate a fried chicken with rice in nearby resto.

Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen-SM Aura is located at the 2nd level of SM Aura, just infront of a Uniqlo store. Its weird that I dont even noticed them before that there’s Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen in SM Aura.

For the lowest price of PHP330, you can now enjoy their signature ramen -- the Ikkoryu Original Tonkotsu.

For the expensive ramen, they offer at PHP400 , the Aburi Chashu Tonkotsu Ramen.

Here’s a tip, if you are on a budget, I suggest just order the Ikkoryu Original Tonkotsu, its on the affordable range around PHP 300+

Check out that wooden chandelier style at the ceiling of the ramen resto.

You chopstick and your bowl.
You can use this bowl if you ordered some appetizer. But this bowl will be removed once you ordered a ramen.

Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen special iced tea - Its not your sweetened iced tea, but its a cold brew Japanese tea. It has a strong black tea taste and its very refreshing.

This is FREE! But stocks are limited. Make sure you ask for this when you ordered your food. And you can ask for refill --- unlimited.

Sapporo premium beer - If you want to taste some Japanese beer, you can order a Sapporo beer for PHP 200. The combo of a Japanese beer to your Japanese food is perfect. But take note that Japanese beer can really kick you to tipsy-ness. So drink beer moderately.

Chicken Karaage
PHP 180

Potato Croquette
PHP 160

If you want more heavy meal, you can pair your ramen with these small bite of appetizer.

Original Gyoza
PHP 180

Their gyoza is a must order and must try. Its far more different with other gyoza offered in some Japanese resto. Their version is taste and has a thick meat inside, so soft, chewey and tasty.

Ikkoryu Salad
PHP 100

Their Ikkoryu Salad is like a fried rice paper topped with lots of veggies. There’s a spice kick on their salad and for those who are lucky for something crunchier, chewy with juicy veggies taste, then this can add as your combo for your ramen and beer adventure here in Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen.

And here are the main stars of  Ikkoryu Fukuoka Ramen.

Aburi Chashu Tonkotsu
PHP 400

I order this sometimes because it is packed with soft pork meat and two eggs.

Black Garlic Tonkotsu
PHP 380

For more flavor ramen, you can try the ramen with roasted black garlic oil. At first I thought that this is squid ink. But its only an oil from the roasted garlic.

Miso Tonkotsu
PHP 380

My ever fave ramen --- the miso based ramen!!  Its always the flavorful ramen soup, filled with lots of tonkotsu pork.

You can customize your ramen just order these:

Extra:
Chashu - PHP 100
Kaedama noodles - PHP 100
Tobanje paste - PHP 60
Kikurage wood ear - PHP 75
Ajitama soft boiled egg - PHP 50
