I see lots of doll meet ups in the past few months on the net and collectors are now posting their photo diorama of their dolls and its lovely to see this kind of hobby evolve. I remember how my sisters play with their dolls and whenever they are finish playing, I get their permission of playing with it after hahahaha, no..not that playing like combing the hair or dressing them up, but what I do is that I create a diorama with it and then let it display in our shelves til they play with it again.
There was a time that our living room was turn out to be a like a toy store and our room is like that Toy Kingdom and Comic Quest hahaha, we were building our own playground from comics, dolls, action figures and er...band and boy band posters hahahah.
but to make this blog post short, the meet up was all about Dolls and they are like real people who do meet up and have their own photo shoot. An activity that added to the hobby is the photo shoot, collectors are now enjoying this hobby with their collectible dolls.
I'm not part of the group but I love to see these dolls and I now appreciate them more like my action figures.. Me and RG was about to collect this Myscene dolls ahahaha, they are so cute but then it was pricey for us guys. but hey! maybe in the future there will be male doll collectors. But one of my friend Matto Garcia is a big Barbie doll and Wonder Woman collector, I just saw his collections during our Justice League exhibit and many people were amazed to see his custom made Wonder Woman and Darna Barbie customs.
