My first time to join in a walkathon, and my legs got tired up for the first time, and its been ages for walking a long distance and maybe this is my first time to walk ( a shorter distance) after 4 years. Walking is one of my exercise when I was in Pasig City, I used to travel by foot only and its my brain exercise and not for my legs. But here in the
Ipanema Walkathon, I just felt that my legs got burned out and lost my focus, that's why I nursed my legs after the event for two days. But it doesn't matter, I feel proud that I took part of the mighty walk for our mother Earth, and the best part is I walk using my Ipanema Atomica flip flops. It's my first time again to go out of the house wearing a flip flop, but this time, I am not alone and everyone is wearing their Ipanemas.

But it is great to show to world that we just walk and made an awareness about saving our planet and trees. The walkathon started in the Le Soufle with a samba dance playing in front, and we are cheering up and maybe some of us are dancing. We walked around the Bonifacio High Street and then back to Le Soufle, its funny that I got busy taking photos in the start of the walkathon, I just realized that my position is in the front of the participants and then later on at the near end of the walkathon, I found myself nearly in the end of the participants, ahhaha. I was walking and near the finish line, then suddenly a big group of photographers were infront of me and taking lots of photos, it is very distracting and the realize that there are celebrities in my back walking towards the finish line. It was a fun walk, then saw my blogger friends coming in as the last participants and after the walkathon, they raffled off the limited edition Ipanema Gisele Bündchen Seeds Collection flip flops.
The event ended inside the Le Soufle, were we rested and feed our stomach with light meals and enjoyed that Philippine Ballet Theater group doing the Ipanema dance on stage.
