For me, I will list the Teen Wolf as one of my favorite monster character, because he is in his teen, he is cool, he rocks, he got super human abilities, he turn into a werewolf and still get the girls of his dreams, but let me step that break and try to clear this smoke and open my eyes and accept that this new Teen Wolf that will air tomorrow night in AXN Beyond is not the same with the 1985 movie of the Teen Wolf that star with Michael J. Fox, that movie is my favorite and I remember that we watch that every day in our betamax, got addicted those 90’s years enjoying surround sound set up and a big tv inside our parent’s bedroom.

If vampire and other monsters tv series are the “IN” of today, then let them resurrect the old concept that was from a movie created by Jeff Davis, and now Jeff is the executive producer for this new Teen Wolf tv series, same concept, different character with a modern setting, now directed by by Australian director Russell Mulcahy (Highlander series) The Teen Wolf tv series was first launched in the US and it drew 2.18 million viewers, and viewed by 12-34 year old audiences.
Teen Wolf series (2011)
The new Teen Wolf series is no longer led by Michael J. Fox, but I wish that he can be part of this series and do a cameo for us old fans, and now the new teen wolf guy is teen actor Tyler Posey (Linoln heights, Brothers and sisters) as the high school boy Scott McCall, and with Scott’s best friend Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O Brien of High Road), school rival Jackson Whittemore (played by Colton Haynes of The Gates), girl interest Lydia Martin (played by Hollan Roden of Lost), and love team with Allison Argent (played by Crystal Reed of Skyline) and wolf brother Derek Hale (played by Tyler Hoechlin of Road to perdition and 7th Heaven)
The story started as a normal life of Scott, being a weakling and as normal life of a boy, then his life changed after he got bitten by a stray werewolf in the forest, then he started to discover his new life after he found out that the is turning into a werewolf, the only person knows about this is his best friend and wolf brother.
This new Teen Wolf series will air this July 17, 2011 at 9pm only at AXN Beyond
My review for this series is that it actually got me hooked on its pilot episode, I can’t blame my self in watching a new series, but this will be a new series that I should watch after Camelot. I’m familiar with the storyline and concept, but this time the Teen Wolf series will have an expanded universe than the 1st movie Teen wolf of 1985, I know there are lots of old fans that are waiting for a remake movie, but then I salute Jeff Davis for bringing back the Teen Wolf mania and it will only reign as the only awesome werewolf series before Twilight and all those supernatural series jump into the lives of our teens.
It’s a good pilot episode, try to watch it and let me know if you like it.
