Me with Hi-5 Stevie and Tim
I just can’t believe that I’ve met the whole band of Hi-5, Its just our 2nd year in watching and appreciating this pre-school tv show based in Australia, my 2 year son, Ashton loves to watch this since he was 1 year old and still the best pre-school tv show for us here in the Philippines, because the show teaches kids on how to dance and sing and also appreciate art and all kinds of talents introduced to them.
We waited for 2 more years for their return here in Manila to do another show, From the 1st time they visited here, our son Ashton is not yet present, but when we heard that Hi-5 will have a live stage performance, we didn’t think twice and went to SM MOA IMAX ticket booth to buy our tickets, we bought 2 GOLD tickets for me and Ashton, and we picked the 2nd day of the show at 7pm. Then I got another 2 Silver tickets from the press con few days ago, so mommy and Ate M can join with us to watch Hi-5 together.
Before we bought the tickets, we asked our son Ashton if he wants to watch Hi-5 live, then he remembered that he watched Barney live before which he can’t believe that he is watching the show live and not on TV or i n DVD, so when he found out that Hi-5 is coming here, he becomes excited and then nervous, he touched his chest ( heart) and said that he want to watch Hi-5. Through out the week he mentions Hi-5 always, so from the last 2 week before the main show, we bought our tickets and it was selling like pan cakes.
I also heard about that SM Cinema E-plus card holders and members are receiving lots of promo and discount, they are giving away 10% off for card holders and then they also did an insane promo – reload a Php 1000 to your E-plus card and get two tickets for free, it was a too late promo for us because we bought our tickets already and I found this out a day after we bought our tickets. But its okay and I’m still happy SM Cinema E-plus is really cool in offering lots of freebies.

Okay going back to Hi-5, we noticed that their member Fely already left the group, we want to see Fely in person because we heard that she’s half Filipino, but its okay since she chose for a new direction for her career, but the Hi-5 team welcomes a new member ( Asian girl from the left), her name is Dayen Zheng, I think she’s Chinese but then when I read her profile, she’s born in South Korea and then transferred to Australia with her family. Here we saw for the 1st time that Dayen replaces the role of Fely for the Hi-5 team. We haven’t seen Dayen on TV and I’m not sure if she’s on the DVD of Hi-5 Holiday!.
I’m so excited!!!! its funny that parents are more excited than their kids hahahaha, because we introduced this show to our kid and we love the song and dance activity in every episode. Its great to see Stevie, Casey, Dayen, Lauren and Tim in person, and they are all so cute!!!
We are ready to rock and roll to the high energy performance of Hi-5 this Saturday in SM MOA Centerstage.
